Low and behold fright fanatics, this is home of renowned Horror writer, Stephen King; in Bangor, ME. I truly am a fan of Horror, just ask anybody. Well, anybody close to me. Particularly in this case I have a long lasting infatuation with author Stephen King since I was in High School. For me, he is definitely an inspiration. After I finished High School I wanted to be a writer (still do).

Clown Doll
Mid 2007. Amanzimtoti, South Africa. This experience took place over a period of around 5 months. My daughters would stay with their father every second weekend, and an evening midweek. He moved homes frequently, and had recently moved into a 2 bed simplex.

A Twin Peaks Halloween. Second Place in Costume Contest Challenge.
This Halloween I wanted my self portrait series to give homage to the one and only teenage troubled queen, Laura Palmer. I got into Twin Peaks about three years ago through a friend, who said I'd love it stylistically. (They were very right.) David Lynch, man. David Lynch. While I haven't seen many of his other works like Mulholland Drive or Blue Velvet (I know), I have recently watched Dune, which I loved, and which also stars the absolute baddie Kyle MacLachlan. But I mostly haven't gotten around to Lynch's other films because I've been so busy watching, and rewatching, Twin Peaks!

A Theory of Oneness
The ghost walks home alone. She does not weep. She does not long. She does not know. The grass has no knowing, the dirt has no feeling. She slips through timespans, floating in and out of a menagerie of memories that once held her consciousness together in some previous dimension. Glazed. Gooey. Moments whose linearity have really no place here. Moments that simultaneously speed up and slow down, fast forward and reverse, a glowing ticker tape reel of memories twinkling like one giant spiral of atoms - projecting a mass that envelops every single last degree that perception can withstand. Engulfment. Sticky primordial ooze.

October 30th
His heart finally stopped racing but a headache was nagging him near his right temple. Ryan stopped sobbing as the paramedics quickly arrived to help him out of his mangled convertible. Even though the car had to be towed, he felt okay and declined a ride to an area hospital.

Oh, it’s the special time of year again when there’s that feeling in the air, a familiar crispy coolness bringing on the reoccurring wonders of what may lurk behind the veil which appears to be at its thinnest. Oh how I love the way that the fall season brings on one of my favorite Halloween traditions of curling up and getting cozy with a hot drink, some roasted pumpkin seeds and slipping into the world of the wondrously eerie, the macabre, and captivating haunts right from my TV screen. Back in the day, it was from VHS rentals. (Yes, I’m that old)

‘The Pale Door’ Is an Interesting Low-Budget Blend of Horror and Western
Admittedly, the sole reason I was interested in watching The Pale Door was that Joe R. Lansdale’s name was on the poster. If you’ve never heard of him, stop reading and check out some of his stuff now. He has a wealth of literary outputs, stories pertaining to different genres, including horror, Western, crime, science-fiction, coming-of-age drama. Some of these stories are absurdist pulp, others are genuinely moving. Usually, they are both. These stories can involve a melancholic King Kong, a soul-sucking mummy, zombies with Mickey Mouse ears, and so much more. If that doesn’t make you interested in giving his work a gander, I don’t know what will.
