When Is a Move Final?
The Commitment Problem in Modern Chess Modern chess operates under a fractured commitment model that no longer aligns with how players think, how turns function in most games, or how chess itself is actually played across physical and digital formats. At the heart of the problem is that chess treats physical contact with a piece as binding commitment while simultaneously relying on a separate explicit action to end a player’s turn. This creates a logical contradiction: a move becomes final before the turn is over. In most turn-based games, interaction with game components is provisional until the player explicitly signals the end of their turn. Chess is an anomaly in this respect, and the inconsistency becomes increasingly visible in modern play.

'Captain America: Civil War' 10th Anniversary: Fun Facts And Backstory From The Film
May 6, 2026, marks the 10th anniversary of the worldwide release of Captain America: Civil War, a loose adaptation of a classic comics event. The third film in the original Captain America trilogy, and opening act to Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Civil War shook the MCU's status quo by splitting the Avengers in two, as Iron Man and Captain America disagree over the introduction of the Sokovia Accords, a law placing the Avengers under U.N control. It is an explosive opening to Phase Three, setting the MCU on a new path.

The Boys Season 5
Okay we only have a few episodes left in this last season of The Boys. So this is where it starts to get dicey because there are only 3 episodes left after this and there is still so much to do. I am getting very concerned about pacing. I have been loving the individual episodes so far but how they come together is a lot more important and I am not sure they are doing great with the overall story. I choose to have hope but it's not looking good.

The Boys Season 5
We are about to hit the halfway point for this final season of The Boys. So far we have only mentioned the Gen V kids but there are nowhere to be seen. That is certainly a narrative choice that is going to potentially make this show a giant waste of time but I suppose we will see.

Will 'Avengers: Doomsday' Be Steve Rogers' Fault? 10 Greatest Mistakes Made By Heroes In The MCU
Fans attending this year's CinemaCon were treated to an exclusive first-look trailer for the upcoming MCU blockbuster Avengers: Doomsday. As others eagerly await a wider released trailer (to follow the four existing character teasers), speculation on the film's plot has once again ramped up. One of the most prominent recent theories is that the increase in Multiversal Incursions, the biggest and most dangerous recurring issue of the Multiverse Saga, may have been inadvertently caused by Steve Rogers' decision to go back and have a life with Peggy Carter at the end of Avengers: Endgame.

The Boys Season 5
Okay so we have set up a lot with these first two episodes; the virus works but on super strong supes it is a temporary deterrent. My current theory is that they use the virus to slow Homelander down enough for Marie to take him out. We still have yet to see any of the Gen V kids and we should remember that Godolkin is also out there roaming around somewhere. While Homelander is rounding up American citizens for disagreeing with and criticizing him…ya know like every dictator ever. Super off topic but remember when Donald Trump tweeted about how late night hosts shouldn’t be allowed to make jokes about the president of the united states? Weird, don’t know what made me think of that, anyway….

Invincible Series Review (Season 4)
Over the last five years, Robert Kirkman’s Invincible has been on a knock-out run, standing at the top of the adult-oriented superhero scene. The fourth season has arrived sooner than expected, just one year after its predecessor. It delivers another impressive and wildly enjoyable outing.

The Boys Season 5
The first episode of this final season was a doozy. I can’t believe they killed A-Train off so early, like I think I’m actually in a little bit of denial about it. Just as his character development was really rounding out he gets killed by Homelander and that sucks. But our people are free from this internment camp, but the first episode was still really focused on the virus to which I was left asking what’s the point of Marie then? What actually was the whole point of the second season of Gen V if this is where we are putting all of our energy? It was just the first episode but these are the questions it opens up.
