'Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows' #1 Features A Married Peter Parker — And A Super-Powered Mary Jane!
Alas, poor Mary-Jane. Her marriage to Spider-Man was never popular with #Marvel's writers and editors, and in the end Joe Quesada had it retconned out of existence. 2008's "One More Day" event had Peter and MJ make a deal with Mephisto in order to save Aunt May's life, sacrificing their marriage in the process. Quesada believed marrying Peter off had completely changed the character, and that this was the only way to get the Spider-Man franchise back on its feet.

His name is legendary among superhero fans. As the co-creator of countless Marvel superheroes, ranging from Spider-Man to the Fantastic Four, Stan Lee has become a cultural icon. 4 Reasons The X-Men Reboot Is Inevitable
Back when Fox launched the X-Men franchise in 2000, they were (with the exception of Blade) the only player in town. Warner Bros. hadn't really done much with Superman since Christopher Reeve, and 1997's Batman and Robin had pretty much killed off that franchise. So, when X-Men fans were finally introduced to the cinematic version of #Marvel's merry mutants, we were delighted.

New Photo from X-Men: Apocalypse. Teases New X-Men Film
Picture Decryption The image is of some interest. For one, the addition of Storm (Alexandra Shipp) to the team is an interesting development. We've seen her character featured heavily in the promotional footage for X-Men: Apocalypse as one of Apocalypse's Four Horsemen. Now, it's common knowledge for fans of the "X-Men" to recognize Storm more commonly as one of the "X-Men", but her portrayal on-screen in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) showcases her as an antagonist in the new film. The image embed above, seems to be a bit of SPOILER content, as it sets the stage for the next film, with the main lineup of the X-Men suited up, and ready to go. Mainly proven by Storm's (Alexandra Shipp) addition to the team. As well as the rest of the "X-Men" looking prepared, as if they've just taken down Apocalypse, and are ready to face some tests in the Danger room. Could they be looking at Wolverine? Wolverine has been known to lead lessons in the Danger Room (the Danger Room is the training room inside of the Xavier Institute) with his group of young mutants. The entire X-men team is assembled here, well except Jubilee and Wolverine that is. Or could Wolverine and a few other mutants potentially be standing opposite of this team of X-Men? If the image means nothing in terms of continuity for the series, Wolverine could be standing opposite of the 'X-Men' alongside Psylocke, Magneto, Angel, Caliban, Jubilee, and Nate Grey; all mutants set to make an appearance in "X-Men: Apocalypse (2016).
Will Chris Pine's Steve Trevor Be The Nick Fury Of The DCEU?
2016 was a strange year for the DCEU, with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad both performing well at the box office — but getting a drubbing from film critics. All eyes are turning to next year's Wonder Woman and Justice League, two blockbuster hits that already carry the weight of a world of fan expectations upon their broad shoulders.
Will Marvel and Sony Make A 'Sinister Six' Movie?
The box office success of Suicide Squad has proven that a villain-centric superhero movie can work. One similar film that's been heavily discussed over the years is Sinister Six, a proposed Spider-Man spinoff that seemed to die after the box office failure of Amazing Spider-Man 2. But good ideas never die; they just await their turn. What are the odds of getting a Sinister Six film?
'Suicide Squad's Box Office Performance Reveals DC Film's Challenge
Hopes were high for Suicide Squad. The first weekend was record-breaking, helped massively by a late review embargo that ensured negative reviews didn't dent the tremendous marketing (remember those trailers?). Over the course of the next week, Suicide Squad continued to break records - for the best Tuesday take, and even for the best Thursday take. The real test, though, was always going to be the second weekend.
