Favourite Hoenn Pokemon
I always considered Hoenn one of my favourite regions other than Johto. Migrating from GameBoy to GameBoy Advanced, it felt like pokemon itself was advancing. The new pokemon series was called Pokemon Advance. Pokemon and advance seemed to be really connected at the time. The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of backwards compatibility. There's no way to transfer pokemon from GameBoy to GameBoy advance, so it was a fresh start.

Dungeons and Dragons and Dice Rolls: Wait, you use how many dice?
Nobody wants to do math for fun. Well, maybe some people do. I am not one of those people and the prospect of getting my head around what feels like an infinitely complex system of numbers makes me break out into a nervous sweat. Seriously. But the great thing about D&D is that even though the dice rolls look complicated, once you get your head around the basic system, it's actually really simple. Plus there are dozens of apps and handy sites out there you can use that make it easier (i.e. work out the complicated maths) for you.

A brief backstory on my introduction into Brawlhalla.
As a beginner, I wasn't informed of the objectives. I had watched Youtube countless times to gain tips, but some of them weren't very beneficial. To say the least, I was very close to giving up Brawlhalla all in the same week I started the game up. When I was first granted access to a new Macbook Air, I immediately brainstormed, but that was after my shock. "What should I do? Where do I start? Why is there an ad asking me to complete my profile when I haven't even started one?" Truth is, the set-up was profoundly complex, but it didn't repel my intentions of utilizing my laptop. In fact, I was so curious, I consistently asked Siri what 1+1 as to verify that it worked. (That part is for comedical purposes, back with the story!) To think, I had it all. I was manipulating a machine that worked for the sole purpose of amusing me, etc. That sounds bad in so many ways, but don't tell Moby! ( Moby is Tim's companion from Brainpop). Anywho, when I was scrolling through the web like a typical teenager, something peculiar popped up in search engine. Steam? In a computer? How the hell does that work? I clicked on the link only to encounter hundreds of titles all in one place! Astonished by this work of art, I made my way towards the free games. (Being broke doesn't detain my capabilities, mind you.) I scrolled through, and found nothing but lame titles, until.... "Brawlhalla? What kind of Super Smash sh#t is this?" My mouse hovered over it, which brought my attention towards the videos. I spent a good 10 minutes just watching stickers fly across maps. It was totally worth it. The time required to download Brawlhalla was respectable, and I started my quest onto figuring out the controls, the objective, and so on and so forth. I know I'm going to gain so much hate for this, but I have previously used a controller on PC, and I am quite ashamed of myself. ("Boo", said the reader to themself.) To be fair, I wasn't much of a keyboard player until I was educated on typing skills thanks to my Computers teacher over at my HS. (She's so wonderful, I don't know how I would've typed this long paragraph without her.) Familiarizing myself with the keyboard controls was a hardship, but I chose to undertake it with zero doubts. My first-ever character that I rushed into battle was Lucien, a revolutionary... I don't know the labels, my history knowledge is rusty! I'd be happy to discuss WWII, though. Lucien's weapons consist of katars, and blasters. They were very powerful when it came to charged attacks. Other than that, they were pretty decent. My 2nd legend was Ada, if I remember correctly. (You can view the lore in Brawlhalla if you wish to see a more detailed explanation of a character.) Blah, blah, blah, some bald dude with a stick and gauntlets and yellow-luminiscent powers, then finally: The Shadow Keeper, Jiro, a soon to be shogun. With his shadows assisting him in time of battle, and his lust for taking shadows from oppponents, he really is someone you'd like to side with. But enough chit-chat for now. I hope I didn't bore you with a profusely long paragraph about my interesting experiences. Until then, fellow travellers. I bid you all a great journey in the land of mutual learning. Safe travels. :)

Can Showtime’s 'Halo' Series Match the Success the Franchise Had on the Console?
It’s been five years since the news came out that Showtime was taking on the endeavor of bringing the Master Chief to the small screen. Since then, fans have patiently been waiting for this dream to become a reality. Now it seems that everything is coming together for the Halo series to possibly fill the Game of Thrones size gap existing in the universe right now. While the Chief has survived impossible odds more times than most, this will probably be his greatest challenge yet. Can Halo translate successfully from console to TV?

'Runebound' to Adventure
Adventure board games should be like a favorite movie, book, or video game, and keep you invested in every choice a hero makes as they become stronger. In Runebound Second Edition (2005), and Third Edition (2015) you start as an insignificant character with few skills, no weapons, and a heavy quest to become mighty enough to pluck the evils from the lands of Terrinoth. Each edition handles this rise of power differently, and feels like how my life as a gamer has changed.

Tomodachi Life
If you’ve owned a 3DS or attended the Hyper Japan con a few years ago, then it’s likely you have heard of this game before. Maybe you’ve watched some play-throughs like Vinesauce’s one. On one hand I would say it’s like Nintendo’s version of sims, but on the other hand I think Sims and Tomodachi life are two different sort of games all together.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Tips for All Adventurers
The Witcher 3 often described like a game with paranoiac content and this is by no means an understatement! When we know that there are more than 250 quests, hundreds of ingredients, unique items do not left out, and the number of points of interest on all Atlas maps more than half a thousand, we understand that it is easy to get lost.

Remembering the Brutal Brilliance of 'Red Dead Redemption'
Red Dead Redemption remains one of best open-world titles ever made and it’s also one of my favourite video games. With the long-awaited sequel just ten days away, I thought I’d look at it in detail. Recently, I went back and played all the way through, reaching 100 percent completion and seeing everything the game had to offer. It has never lost an inch of its impact on me as a player. It should go without saying, but there are MASSIVE SPOILERS ahead; if you're never played Red Dead Redemption before, go back and experience it for yourself before reading on...

How Using a VPN Could Speed Up Your Gameplay and Save Your ‘Life’
Lag is a killer. Yeah, I know it’s not the most compelling of public service announcements, but if you play games seriously, you must have felt the frustration of watching a screen full of intense action freeze for just long enough to get you fragged—usually by something you would’ve seen coming if your network hadn’t glitched.
