First, he owns his company; he owes $1 million to this Armenian mob boss, on his wedding night his boss posse beats him up giving his wife, Cassie (played by Sydney Sweeney), a nosebleed on their wedding night, getting one of his toes cut off, and one of his fingers cut off.

I think I speak for everyone when I say this: we need more rom-coms! Not to make things too real and depressing, but the world is falling apart. Every day, every week, there seems to be a new tragedy, a new horrific headline in the news. At times it feels difficult, almost impossible, to find any sort of solace amongst all the pain and suffering. Rom-coms have the power to do that for me. They're the best kind of movies to throw on when I need a pick-me-up, the best kind of movies to press play on and disconnect from the atrocities of the world for a couple of hours.

A Familiar Echo
How hard is it to come up with a truly original idea? This is the main problem I have with art in all of it’s different mediums. It is the year 2026, and it seems to me that there is a shortage or lack of imagination, creativity, and originality. I feel like I’m stuck in that episode of South Park where one of the boys suffers from Asperger’s, and all they can see is crap all around them. History repeats itself. Times are hard, and just like it was during the Great Depression, the masses head to the theater to get a little reprieve - just a tiny bit of respite - from their stressful lives. What we have is a problem of choosing quantity over quality.
