No, it doesn’t end in an “N” as in BarN Owl, it’s Barred Owl. If you live in the midwest or eastern part of the United States you may be familiar with this species; out west only in select areas. The first time you hear its call, you’re convinced it’s a prank by the neighborhood kids, or at minimum a crazy hunter. No way is this the sound of a real animal, to paraphrase, “Who cooks for you?” to a loud “WHO COOKS FOR YOU?” Several of them together, a parliament of owls, make it even more unbelievable. If you’re a lifelong city dweller, you’ll need to see them with your own two eyes for verification (they have up to a four foot wingspan).
Netflix has hosted some winners and losers during this pandemic and like some of the streaming services, has at times, overused the losers for lack of anything current and new because of Covid-19. If you're still sheltering in place or isolating and haven't seen this one I'd recommend giving it a watch. The cast is stellar and they manage to cover the year that was.
Never have I ever called a simple television show perfect. Never have I watched the same episode a dozen times. Not before Schitt’s Creek. This piece of pure television magic has managed to remain my favorite even after its final episode aired back in April.
On November 24th, Dave Chappelle posted a video on Instagram simply titled Unforgiven. At nearly 19 minutes long, it is perhaps the most personal of all his standup performances, as he reveals some of his most private revelations and biggest grievances of his career and life, starting with his very first show at 14 years old.
Comedy has always been a part of my DNA. Throughout grade school, students recognized me as the class clown. I’m not proud of this title, but now that I’m older, I recognized that I was a value to students growing up.
It's over! After a very stressful week of us staring at a red and blue United States map, the election came to a close earlier this month on Saturday, November 7th. Joe Biden will become the 46th president of the United States. For many, it's a weight off our shoulders after four long years of racism, bigotry, sexism, and flagged tweets.
BEVERLY HILLS—Happy Tuesday and God Bless America, and how’s everybody? Pfizer sent its Covid vaccine to the FDA to be tested for emergency approval as a public debate broke out over who should be the first recipients of the drug. I think the vaccine should be tested first on Congress. If they survive, then the vaccine is safe and if they don’t, then the country is safe

I haven't been on stage as a comedian in a few years now. And with Covid-19, it might be a little while more before I do give it a shot again. It's not that I am that funny. I'm not really. I mean, don't get me wrong, I try. Lord, do I try. But, a brilliant comedian I am not.
