Specifically in this article, I will be covering the symbolism in the film, and how it relates to the plot and characters overall.

Even as a fan of the Marvel Universe, sometimes it’s difficult not to feel as though we’re being completely inundated with new projects, movies and shows. Since the start of the pandemic alone, Marvel has released more than ten blockbuster movies — and that’s without even mentioning their burgeoning world of new TV shows. Anisah SuhailahPublished 6 months ago in GeeksMichael Gambon's Most Unforgettable Role
For those who grew up with the Harry Potter movies, they likely see Michael Gambon's face as the apotheosis of warmth and wisdom. Taking over the role of Professor Albus Dumbledore upon the death of the beloved Richard Harris, though, it was no easy task he had before him trying to fill those shoes. Famously, though, Gambon didn't even attempt to. He didn't read the books, and he didn't allow his approach to the character to be tainted by Harris's prior portrayal.

Hey, welcome back! It’s time for the second part of this list. This one will be a little different. When we get down to the final ten I’ll be talking more in depth about each of these movies and why I chose them. I could do that for every movie here but who’s gonna read all that? What I will say again is these are just my movies that I love and I know some of these entries might make you scratch your head, but but don’t be an elitist 😁. It’s all subjective right?
Travis JohnsonPublished 6 months ago in GeeksMy Top 100 Horror Movies! Part 1
so spooky season is upon us again,it's one of my favorite times of the year and so I figure why not share 100 of my favorite horror films that I like to watch every year even though I don’t get around to watching every single one. Because that’s a lot of movies, but these are the ones that I continuously come back to over and over again. Or that I like the most and some of them include recent titles, which is surprising.

Okay so I had never seen Dancing With The Stars before this season. When I started ballroom dancing it was something that I was vaguely aware of but really had no desire to watch. Students bring in videos all time of dances from that show that bear no resemblance to actual dancing. They have fun tricks and fancy set pieces but for the most part Dancing With The Stars is not dancing. But the existence of Alyson Hannigan on the show this season has broken me down and we are watching, so here are my very qualified thoughts. Please remember this is coming from an internationally certified ballroom dance instructor who is also a rhythm champion and a smooth and standard finalist.
Alexandrea CallaghanPublished 6 months ago in GeeksCelebrating Impact: Sir Steve McQueen
I had not heard of Steve McQueen until 2013, yet he had been making waves and establishing his presence at least 20 years before that! But entirely typical of the invisibility of British minorities and their achievement, though he actually WON the Turner Prize for art in 1999, the media focused on another White nominee instead!

The problem with "Purlie Victorious" at The Music Box is two fold. The first problem is that director Kenny Leon has some of the actors at time inaudible; most strikingly so is Kara Young (Lutiebelle Gussie Mae Jenkins). While Leon reaches desperately for the laughs, many of the jokes are not heard among the audience and we are constantly playing catch up to try to hear where we are in this farce that at times is slow and flat. The second problem is that the play is confusing. We are never sure if we are in the early 60"s or whether we are at the turn of the 19th century.
