Title:RubberYear: 2011MPAA Rating: RDirector: Quentin DupieuxStarring: Robert the Tire, Stephen Spinella, Jack Plotnick Why You’ll Love It! It’s about a telepathic tire for starters. This one goes in the books as an episode of The Twilight Zone that never happened… but should’ve! “Robert” which is the tire's name can destroy things without even moving. It’s a bloody good time that doesn’t make the mistake of taking itself too seriously. You may ask what the purpose of this premise is, and as you’ll find out… NO REASON.

I finally got around to seeing the newest from Quentin Tarantino this past weekend. It has everything a Tarantino fan wants from his films, and gives an interesting spin to a historical event. I’ll warn you now, there will be spoilers. The last 20 minutes are a rollercoaster in the best way possible, and I really want to talk about it.
'Dora and the Lost City of Gold' Is a Fun Movie That Doesn't Quite Rise Above the Standard For Its Genre
I was not the target demographic for this movie. You know why? Because I was expecting Dora and Diego to kiss. Then I remembered that they were cousins.
Jonathan SimPublished 5 years ago in GeeksExamining Keira Knightley's "Feminist" Roles
Since the dawn of mainstream entertainment, women have been outliers in film. A study done by Dr. Martha Lauzen revealed that women held only 30 percent of all speaking parts in the top 100 grossing films of 2014. Even when women are given larger parts, they are often cast within a small pool of roles, rarely reaching beyond the supportive wife, or the object of sexual desire for the male protagonist—and the male audience. Although many film studios continue to pump out content whose messages about women are questionable at best, not all portrayals of women are harmful.
'The Sims—The Movie' - Cancelled
Well, as you may know, The Walt Disney Company has acquired 21st century Fox and its assets, including 20th Century Fox, the studio that was meant to be making many upcoming films, including a film adaption of The Sims based on the popular game franchise. Being a fan, I was really excited to go see it, having loved the Sims for a long part of my life. I even wrote a separate thing about it here on Vocal, talking about the film's many possibilities, and how cool it could've been. If you would like to read it just click here. But, it has come to my attention recently that Disney, while making great films, still of course being a company, decided to take many upcoming Fox projects out of production, fearing they may not do well. This included films such as a Sandlot prequel, a Megaman film adaption, a Flash Gordon film held by Thor: Ragnarok (and the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder)'s own, Taika Waititi, and of course, the film adaption of The Sims. Well, all I can say is... that's a bummer.
Nathan MillerPublished 5 years ago in GeeksTuesdays Are More Than Just Another Day of the Week
Up until this point, Tuesdays have felt like nothing more than an extension of Monday; you don’t get the satisfaction of knowing that Wednesday means you are halfway through the week, you don’t get the excitement that comes on Thursday from knowing that you’ve only got one day left of work, and you don’t get the thrill that comes on Friday that signals that the weekend has finally arrived. Tuesdays just seem to make the boring drudgery of the beginning of the work week last longer than it should. Well, needless to say, my entire outlook on the week changed after reading Mitch Albom's book, Tuesdays with Morrie.

Warning: brief homophobia and attempted murder. Virgil was so used to guys bailing out on him after several dates. He guessed that they were trying to be nice when making up excuses for cancelling on the dates, and ceasing to contact him again afterwards. He had low hopes for dating until Roman Ellington swept him off of one foot. He would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy the first few dates with Roman. They were enough to make Virgil forget the pattern from his group of exes. He voiced his concerns reluctantly to Roman as they were strolling through a greenhouse close to closing time, and Roman promised he wouldn't make outlandish claims to Virgil like his other exes had done.

In the acclaimed 2003 film Lost in Translation (stick with me here), Bill Murray plays Bob Harris, a lonely, middle-aged actor who’s traveled to Japan to star in a Suntory brand whiskey ad campaign. During his trip, he meets and develops a semi-intimate relationship with Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson), a directionless, twenty-something American newlywed meandering towards an incredibly early pre-midlife crisis.
Paco TaylorPublished 5 years ago in GeeksSeason 5 of 'Lucifer'
They are now saying that Season 5 of Lucifer, will be the last, and final season, but that it will be split into two parts. Yes, two parts. Filming for part one of Season 5 starts in September, but we won't see any actual episodes until sometime in 2020. We still have to wait a few more months to see how this story will end.
