My Review of "Tigertail"
We all have stories and this is a story about one man's personal journey to immigrate to the United States. I for one think that a few Asian families can relate to this story. There are layers to this story that aren't really talked about in Asian families. I think the makers of this movie made a bold decision in discussing those things. It's a exploration of duty, love and passing along our characteristics to the next generation.
Brian AnonymousPublished 4 years ago in Geeks10 Books That Are a MUST Read During Quarantine
10 Books that are a MUST read during quarantine according to yours truly. We are all bored out of our minds during quarantine. You can re-binge watch that show you've seen a million times, or you could try something new. Read something new. All of these books are some of my favorites that I would like to share with you. Remember these are in no particular order. I do not want to reveal which one is my top pick. Ha.

Nostalgia is such a great feeling. Hearing a song or seeing a movie or actor you haven't seen in a longtime brings up those feel-good memories of yesteryear and cause a craving for those golden years.
Jide OkonjoPublished 4 years ago in GeeksGeneral Hospital fans doubt Nelle is Nina’s daughter
Thursday on General Hospital was a day that loyal fans have been waiting for, but many were disappointed. Viewers have been wanting closure to the storyline about Nina's daughter and it looks like that time is now. Those who enjoy the action in Port Charles knew that Nina’s daughter owns the half of the locket that matches the one Madeline left behind. A majority of those who watch the ABC daytime drama were waiting for Willow or Harmony to produce the piece of jewelry but instead were thrown a curve ball. Willow went to visit Nina who was holding her half of the locket and had a surprised look in her eyes. It seemed as if she recognized the necklace but this scene was obviously only to tease viewer.

Why I Read When we arrived at this house sitting gig in New Hampshire, our host introduced us to the house and gave us the lay of the land, including the guest room with a bookcase full of random, interesting books. From pop fiction to how to win poker hands and the stock market, to the Holy Bible and more, it seemed to have something for everyone, including me. He recommended The Book of Joy and I, recognizing a sign when I hear it, immediately dug in.

You have to admit, sometimes the bad guy makes a good point. These are a few movie villians who had good intentions but sometimes their methods were all wrong.

Well, it doesn't look like the social distancing wave is quite over yet. We're still unsure for how long this pandemic is going to last, and as long as we're all (hopefully) staying safe indoors, a good way to pass time is to of course, browse the Internet. A while ago, I made a list of some YouTube channels that I thought were worth checking out, but it wasn't finished. Today, the other half of that list arrives, so without further ado, here are some MORE YouTube channels for you to explore!

Recently, someone asked me how I read so much in one day. I didn't really have much of an answer but they asked me whether I was a speed-reader. Now, I don't like that term because I don't think I read at all, for speed. I simply read. As I have grown up reading, my speed has simply developed even though things like my eyesight and my social skills have severely deteriorated. At this point, I'm 24 and I have what some people would call, an impressive reading speed. I honestly don't care for reading speed. I care for other things - enjoyment, entertainment, analysis and how immersive the book is. As long as those things are within the realm of which I am reading, I can honestly say I do not care for speed or how long/short the book is.
Annie KapurPublished 4 years ago in GeeksMy Top Ten War Novels of All Time
War novels always make great reads for when you're looking for the intense life experiences of some of history's greatest heroes. When you're looking for what extremes the human condition can go to, when you're interested in how much we can endure and when you need a bit of a brush up on your history - war novels are always there to turn to. But most importantly, they give you an image that you and I would probably never know. They give us that image of harshness and of near-death experiences on battlegrounds already littered with dead bodies of best friends.

Q-ell BettonPublished 4 years ago in GeeksKathleen Gati on temporary hiatus from portraying Obrecht on 'General Hospital'
Soaps.com and Celeb Dirty Laundry are both reporting that Kathleen Gati will be away from General Hospital for a while. This will be a temporary storyline driven hiatus, so fans need not worry. Robert Scorpio has devised a plan to get the goods on Peter August and Liesl must be out of the picture for the scheme to work. Peter framed Obrecht for his many crimes and no one believes her but Robert, Jason, and Spinelli. Her daughter Britta and her best friend Franco have doubts, but the right people are on her side. With Spinelli's tech savvy, Jason's methods of obtaining information and the District Attorney using legal means to get to the bottom of things, Liesl will eventually be set free. This will take some time so Obrecht fans will not see their favorite character for quite some time. She will however return.

There was that night about five years ago when our super, Kent (the best super in Harlem, btw), was relaxing after a long hard day taking care of his fifteen buildings when he was shocked to hear gunshots. It had been years since that kind of gun play happened around here.
