Star Wars is a science fiction franchise set in a universe far far away.
Comparing/Contrasting TCW 2008 With 2003-2005 Multimedia Clone Wars Project
To many fans born in 2008 or coming into Star Wars fandom of that time, the epic tales of the Clone Wars were told in the 2008 CGI animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars created by George Lucas. This six and eventually seven-season show told the tales of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka Tano along with the other characters of the prequels as they have adventures against the Separatist forces as well as the insidious Darth Sidious who plots to turn the Republic into the Empire from behind the scenes. However, for an older generation who grew up when the prequels were being released in the movie theater, another set of stories told the tale of the Clone Wars, and that was the multimedia project.

The Shocking Things Maz Kanata Did In Her Past
Maz Kanata was one of the most interesting characters that were introduced in the sequel trilogy. From the first minute Han, Rey, and the gang arrived at her castle, it immediately left people in awe and full of intrigue. Also, Maz as a character was full of wisdom and demanded respect. She was almost like the sequel trilogy’s Ben Kenobi and for good reason. She was over a millennium old, so there was a certain amount of implied history about Maz Kanata, but it was never really shown in any of the films. In the expanded lore, however, we got a better look at what Maz did before her introduction in The Force Awakens, and it was not what one might be considered Jedi business.

Will We See A Clone Rebellion In 'The Bad Batch?'
Even though many stories from the Star Wars Expanded Universe are now rendered non-canonical and relegated to Legends, elements of them are making their way into the current Star Wars canon. We now have the appearance of Grand Admiral Thrawn in Rebels, and mentions of Sith Lords of old like Darth Revan and Darth Bane. With The Bad Batch filling in the time period immediately after execution of Order 66 during Revenge of the Sith, there will be opportunity to bring Legends elements back into canon.

The Terrible Accident George Lucas Had That Led Him To 'Star Wars'
The creative mind behind Star Wars was not always dreaming of the stars. Many knew he was a big fan of Flash Gordon, growing up. It was not just the outer space aspect that excited him. George Lucas loved cars, and was fascinated by the ships of Flash Gordon. He set his ambitions on race cars, until an accident intervened, which shifted his focus elsewhere.

How The High Republic Should Affect Post-'The Rise Of Skywalker' Stories
Today, The High Republic is one of the bigger parts of the Star Wars brand. The various book series, comics and other tie-in materials are creating quite an interesting piece of the Star Wars universe for creators to play in. Not only that, there is now a lot of lore for them to pull and bring over to different eras, especially for the post-The Rise of Skywalker era. In fact, it may be wise to look back to the High Republic era as a way to influence the future and beyond.

How 'The High Republic' Affects Our Views On The Jedi
One of the promises of the High Republic is to show us the Jedi at the height of their glory. This is what Obi-Wan Kenobi thinks about when he talks about the golden age of the Jedi and how they were the guardians of peace and justice throughout the galaxy for a thousand generations. This is a promise that has been fulfilled thus far through the series and beyond.

Why 'Star Wars' Should Not Be Like The MCU
The Big Two In the 21st century, there are two major franchises: Star Wars, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Both are the two biggest intellectual properties in the entire world. Both are owned by Disney, and both are the two pop culture moneymakers of the company. However, both are very different as well. Both are run by different heads, but also both have two very completely different structures and ways in how they make their films and release them. Many within the fandom want Star Wars to be more like Marvel for they see Marvel right now as the better of the two. Should Star Wars be more like Marvel? Well, perhaps not. Star Wars is not the Marvel Cinematic Universe and there is a reason for that.

'Lord Vader: A Star Wars Story' Fan Trailer Will Turn You To The Dark Side
I think it's safe to say no one, not even George Lucas himself, could have possibly imagined just how big Star Wars would turn out to be. The franchise already has a lifespan of more than four decades, yet shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon, much to the delight of the absolutely huge fanbase. Since the release of the original trilogy, more and more new content has been released, focusing on characters old and new.

Mark Hamill Explains The Insane Secrecy Behind Luke Skywalker's Cameo
When The Mandalorian Season 2 aired last year, there were cameos that some viewers already knew for sure would be happening. However, there was one cameo that people did not expect for certain, though there was wishful hoping. And when it unfolded, those who were hoping it would happen were in about as much awe as those who did not even have the possibility on their radars. That cameo is, of course, Luke Skywalker, and Mark Hamill was involved in the making of the scene. Though there have been bits of info here and there, people still to this day wonder about the process of bringing that scene to the screen. How did it all go down? How involved was Mark Hamill exactly? For several months, much of this has been a mystery.

Kenobi Series Actor Teases The Show Will Feature These Jedi & Sith Characters
Back in December of 2020, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy announced that Hayden Christensen would return to the Star Wars galaxy as Darth Vader for an epic rematch with his old master and now arch-enemy Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Disney+ miniseries of the same title. It is not known yet if Hayden’s role will require him to always wear the iconic black suit on screen, but there have been recent rumors of some flashback scenes of the Clone Wars era. Thus, it is quite possible that we will see both pre-Mustafar Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader. In March, Lucasfilm then announced the full cast of the upcoming series:

Hasbro Reveals Giant Rancor Through Haslab
Whether or not you actually like Star Wars personally, no one can deny that it is one of the biggest and most lucrative franchises in cinema history. Fans have literally spent hundreds and thousands of dollars, pounds, and other currency amassing a huge collection. Some fans even have rooms specifically dedicated to all things Star Wars.

Would Star Wars Adopting A Multiverse Be A Good Idea?
Multiverse! That seems to be the name of the game when it comes to a lot of the major franchises today. Marvel has recently brought up the idea of multiverse. Even DC has brought in the idea with their films, although these are things that go back all the way to the comic books, where there are multiple incarnations of the characters. However, not every franchise has a multiverse. For example, on a technical level Star Wars does not.
