The Best 'Star Wars' Planets To Visit On Holiday
With everything opening back up, vacations are on everyone’s minds. We all just want to get away and relax and forget about life for awhile. But what if vacationing in the Star Wars universe were possible? What planets would be the best to just sit back, relax, and get your vacation on? While there are definitely some planets that would probably not make the list for example, Tatooine may be a giant sandbox, but there’s no ocean or places to cool off so what’s the point of sand without swimming? There are definitely some planets in the galaxy that would make anybody looking for a good relaxing time very happy.

How Michael Stackpole's 'Rogue Squadron' Novel Could Influence The Movie
When anthology films set in the Star Wars universe were announced, the list of stories fans hoped would end up in theaters seemed to be as long as a Star Destroyer. After Rogue One and Solo, many called for movies centering around Obi-Wan Kenobi or Boba Fett. Among this wish list of stand-alone movies was a film delving into Rogue Squadron, the elite Rebel X-Wing fighter squadron first named in The Empire Strikes Back. The devotion to this squadron felt by the fanbase stems not only from the original trilogy films, where they were front and center for many of the most climactic dogfights, but also from the Nintendo 64 game of the same name as well as Michael Stackpole's thrilling series of novels following the squad post-Endor. After a recent re-read of the first novel, X-Wing: Rogue Squadron, I got to thinking about how this exceptional book series could influence Patty Jenkins' upcoming Rogue Squadron film, which is set to release December 22, 2023.

Set to drop all at once on Disney+ September 22, the nine episodes of this anthology series will be in anime styles, having been made by multiple Japanese anime studios. While there is a lot of excitement for this collection, there is always the question of whether or not it may fit into canon. And we have somewhat of an answer. According to StarWars.com,

The 5 Most Influential People Behind 'Star Wars' That You Don't Know Of
When George Lucas first sat down with his idea for a space opera in the early 1970s, he had no idea the phenomenon it would become, giving rise to many movies, television series, books, comics, etc. Obviously, Lucas did not create this epic saga all by himself. There were others who helped contribute to its success. For example, John Williams’ soundtrack added to the atmosphere for the galaxy far, far away, which we have all come to love. In no particular order, here are the five most influential people behind Star Wars that you (probably) do not know about.

We Might Know A Key Feature From Ubisoft's Open World ‘Star Wars’ Game
Fans have been waiting with bated breath for any new information on Ubisoft’s Star Wars game. With the exception of Respawn’s fantastic Jedi: Fallen Order, most of the Star Wars games under Electronic Arts were either first-person shooters or mobile games. While those games certainly have their fans, a lot of people have been looking for a new flavor of Star Wars games to choose from. Ubisoft’s new Star Wars title might just be the game to scratch that itch. All that is known at the moment is that it will be an open-world Star Wars adventure, but there are not many more details apart from that. However, new information about another Ubisoft game may have revealed a feature in their Star Wars title, and it does not involve Ubisoft’s infamous towers!

How Luke Skywalker Was Going To Replace Darth Vader In 'Return Of The Jedi'
Almost every Star Wars fan will know that George Lucas had a plethora of ideas for his overall space opera story when writing the original trilogy. Some of these ideas would eventually find their way into the story via the prequels, sequels, and TV shows, but not all of them were great and so ended up being scrapped.

Witches Of The Mist: The Nightsisters Explained
The TV show The Clone Wars not only filled in gaps of the story during the prequel era, but also introduced us to a whole host of new and interesting characters, races, and planets. One of the most intriguing additions to the galaxy far, far away, were the Nightsisters. Despite first actually appearing in some novels from the Expanded Universe, now Legends, the show was the first to bring them to establish them on the screen. We learn that they inhabit the planet Dathomir, a place brimming with dark energy, and how they are able to harness energy to perform impressive feats with magic. Two very popular characters from the franchise, Darth Maul and Asajj Ventress, both hail from this planet. But by the time we meet the Nightsisters, they are an established cult so not much information is given with regards to their history and a lot of fans have expressed interest in learning me about them. So today, that's exactly what we are going to do.

Why The Sequel Trilogy Is More Cohesive Than People Think
With the sequel trilogy over and complete, many have argued that it is a trilogy that is inconsistent, non-cohesive, and disjointed, along with whole bunch of other critiques as well. Perhaps the critics are being too harsh. Perhaps they are looking at things a bit differently than how they should. Yes, having three, then eventually two, different directors had an effect on the making of the trilogy. Yes, things like the loss of Carrie Fisher affected the plot and some threads getting set aside. On the other hand, it may not be as bad as many of its critics point out. If one looks closer between the lines, and examine the major characters and their thematic elements, they would see a trilogy whose arcs and threads are actually really tight and come to both natural and fair conclusions.

The Terrifying 'Star Wars' Species That Destroyer Droids Are Modeled After
During the galactic war between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS), There were many droids that caused terror to civilians, and clone troopers alike. The high numbers of the B1 Battle Droids, the tough-looking B2 Super Battle Droids, etc. Yet, arguably, none caused more terror, or carnage, like the Trade Federation’s Droidekas. The Droidekas, also known as Destroyers, were high caliber battle droids that belonged to the Trade Federation.
