Shooting Starts Spring 2021 For Kenobi Series!
While still a long way off, it is no secret that the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV show on Disney+ is one of the most highly anticipated Star Wars projects in the works right now. Obi-Wan Kenobi is a fan favorite character, and with the recent discussion centered around early talks of Rey potentially being a Kenobi, his name has been in the spotlight even more than usual lately.

This has been quite a busy week for Star Wars marketing. On Monday, we got the short film “Hunted,” which showcased an X-wing pilot and a TIE fighter pilot within the world of EA’s upcoming game Star Wars: Squadrons, which will be released October 2. On Tuesday, we finally got the trailer for season 2 of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, which will be premiering on October 30. Then on Wednesday, ILMxLab released a teaser trailer for Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, which is set to come out for the Oculus Quest this holiday season.

Ever since the season finale of the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian last December, when Moff Gideon emerged from his ship wielding the Darksaber, Star Wars fans have been very curious about what will happen in the second season. People are eager to see the further adventures of Din Djarrin and The Child, the latter having been nicknamed “Baby Yoda” by the fans. We knew that season 2 would be coming in October, and for a while, people were expecting that October 7 would be the release date. Recently, Star Wars social media announced, with the punny caption “This is the day,” that the new season would premiere on October 30. This is not as soon as many expected, but it is still not too far away. With October creeping closer and closer, fans have been wanting a trailer. They even expected it to drop during the NBA play-offs, though that did not end up happening. Now, however, we finally have a trailer. You can check it below:

Set five years after the events of Return of the Jedi and 25 years prior to the events of The Force Awakens, it follows the title character, a Mandalorian bounty hunter named Din Djarin, Performed by Pedro Pascal, and his exploits beyond the reaches of the New Republic.The first-ever Star Wars television series has changed the game in terms of what might be possible in live action TV, more specifically with the use of real-time rendered virtual sets displayed on LED screens.

Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker ended the sequel trilogy in 2019, around the time that Lucasfilm took the Star Wars universe to a new direction with the groundbreaking hit TV series The Mandalorian, the second season of which premieres October 30 on Disney+. The show takes place after Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi and long before the rise of the First Order, the authoritarian regime that is a threat to the galaxy when Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens comes around. Since the hype from the last trilogy has died down, we are now at a time where information about the direction that Star Wars has been taking is coming out. The Rise of Skywalker received mixed reviews from critics and fans, many of whom were upset with certain decision they made, including Rey’s lineageand Kylo Ren’s redemption. Finn actor John Boyega was upset and unsatisfied with how the narrative handled his character throughout the trilogy. Many fans were upset with how certain pay-offs played out after they were set up in previous films.

While a complex, dynamic character in his own right, it is no secret that Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader would not be the character he is without his wife, Padmé Amidala. We see the rise and fall of their relationship in the prequel trilogy and in The Clone Wars, but Padmé's presence is mysteriously absent from the original Star Wars trilogy.
