Anything You Say
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. That’s why no one heard the woman’s screech. It was muffled by a rubber tube used to explore the red landscape outside the bubble. Detective Gunnar Pike surveilled the scene. He was the hue of pine. Under the dome of the city on the Martian surface, this was the first homicide in space, much less on Mars. Not even the Moon had recorded a murder. Pike cursed.

The Dimensionals
The Dimensionals History class was boring today. Usually it was one of my favorite classes, but Mrs.Carnel just seemed to linger on about the Industrial Revolution. The bell rang “Alright class, please have your reports turned in by tomorrow morning.” I gladly got up and headed toward the door. I walked down the crowded hall and remembered I needed my math textbook for next period.

Terr Archaios
Chapter 4: Planet Fall, Earth Earth hung in space outside the observation window of Odysseus. It had taken nine months but they finally reached home. They still had no communications with Mission Control on Earth but they were home. Commander Hughes called Jake to the command deck as the flagship of GalaxyX established a synchronous orbit above the Earth at a distance of two hundred and sixty-thousand miles.

Terra Archaios
Flight from Ceres Three days passed before the crew, warriors and the captives all awoke. Jake was astonished to find that Galantine’s warriors had brought on board sixty-four people. They were huddled in small groups throughout a ship designed for a complement of a hundred and fifty. Now the ship had a complement of a hundred and sixty passengers, but well within the feasible complement intended for the Odysseus, even if it meant cramped quarters for some. It was a good thing that GalaxyX had decided to equip the ship with the maximum fuel and provisions. The ship’s oxygen recycler and hydroponics would be able to assist in producing the additional fresh oxygen needs of the passengers.

Chapter Seven: A Different Perspective
“Come on, we need to get you out of here.” quickly looking around and pulling out my lightsaber, I twist the knob on the handle; adjusting the length of it. After doing that, I ignite it and try to cut Darryl’s binders, only to have my lightsaber extinguish. “What the...” pulling his hands closer I see some sort of energy surrounding it and I grit my teeth. That bounty hunter must have known I was a Jedi. That means, Aydgage sent them or decided to go after the bounty Revan put out. Darryl lets out a low, pained moan. I look at his face, to gauge how much pain he is in. Sweat is all over his face and down his neck, his eyes have now closed and I can feel nothing but regret coming from him. “Darryl? I need you to talk to me.”

Terra Archaios
Chapter 2: Inside Ceres Mira led Jake down the long corridor until she came to an opening in the far wall the size of a normal man, that is to say, if a normal man was ten feet as tall as the soldiers were. The soldiers were able to transverse the hallway two side by side. A brilliant green stone was embedded in the wall above the entrance, with a light that shone through the stone, bathing the entrance in a greenish hue. A strange mist hung in the doorway.

The Reclaimers
Chapter 2 , Fresh Breath I managed to navigate to the stranded O2 tank and carefully grapple to the burnt heap it was attached to, avoiding the very pointy bits as I wrapped my gloved fingers gently around a smooth stanchion near the life-giving canister. The last thing I need to do is skewer myself.

Body Hugger
Whenever and wherever the sales pitch was heard, Dave the Gadget Lover took it personally. If they said it was all the rage and a real must have, then Dave had to have it. He was always a sucker for a new gadget, a new toy with which to amuse himself. With a high paying, low stress job in the public service and only himself to feed, Dave had more than enough disposable income to accumulate the latest and greatest scientific novelties and technological marvels. He had a wonderful time with his collection of innovative time-wasters. They called them all time-savers but years and years of pouring good money down the gurgler had taught him that they saved him no time and cost him a packet of money.
