Up and Coming Restaurant Chains
We love food and because of this we have restaurants all over the place. Last year the food industry took a big hit because of covid. While many restaurants suffered, there were many new guys on the block that still managed to thrive, despite the virus. Certain chains such as Starbucks and Subway will always have lots and lots of locations and will be successful, but they better watch out for these up-and-coming restaurants.
Chris DavenforthPublished 3 years ago in FeastFolami’s Peace of Soul
Right in the heart of South Carolina, sits Peace of Soul, a black female owned and operated vegan soul restaurant. On any given day, people stand in long lines, wearing masks, and distanced 6 feet apart in the unforgiving southern sun just to experience what can only be described as culinary nirvana when biting into their vegan interpretation of chicken and waffles. Peace of Soul is a 100% plant-based restaurant. To think of a plant-based restaurant in a town where a BBQ restaurant sits on every corner, you might consider Folami Geter's entrepreneurial endeavor a fad soon to fold, but you’d be wrong. Folami adopted her plant-based lifestyle and cooking methods from her father, and, after inheriting his restaurant, she took a calculated, smart risk to renovate and brand it with her own vision.
Welcome to the World's Largest Drive-in Restaurant
What'll Ya Have? What'll Ya Have? What'll Ya Have? Amid a cacophony of sights, smells, and sounds, the famous catch-phrase rings out above the din. No matter what time you show up at the world's largest drive-in, you can be assured of the smell of fried onion rings, and the constant call of What'll Ya Have?
Darryl BrooksPublished 3 years ago in FeastFor the Buffet Lovers in St. Pete
There are not many buffet restaurants in Saint Petersburg, Florida anymore. Several years ago you could enjoy the best variety of buffet at The Golden Coral restaurant, but that didn't survive. Now the only buffet restaurants are few and far between. Cici's Pizza Buffet is still around along with Country Pizza Italian Grill, so if you like an Italian buffet they will satisfy. If you're looking for Americana buffet, I don't know what to tell you. I haven't seen one around. However, I did find The Big Apple Buffet which serves a large Chinese food buffet. If you love crab and sushi, then you will fall madly in love with The Big Apple Buffet as they have a wide variety of crab dishes and sushi on their buffet tables.

Lucy surveyed the disarray around her, and sighed. The conference room was littered with discarded San Pellegrino bottles, programs, hotel-issued notepads and small paper tasting plates. Chairs were in a state of chaos, with one even toppled over in someone’s haste to make it to the next session. This is not what she had signed up for.

DoorDash, I Wish I Knew How to Quit You
During the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, both my husband and I, like the rest of the world stopped going to the office for work. I ended my job all together and he set up his home office to work from home. In the beginning it was a fun and new adventure for us both. I was determined to get fit, make meals every day, and reap the benefits of being a stay-at-home mom again for the second time in my life. The reality of it though, was that none of that actually happened.

When you walk into smart restaurants nearby, you may find them as a perfect place with all the processes perfectly managed with a team of a professional staff. However, the waiter, servers and other members are humans and can make some mistakes. You will be surprised to know there are many things that go behind the scenes and restaurant managers may not want you to be informed about them. So, whenever you order food, you must take care of the points mentioned in this article.
Fermata
“Are you from Texas?” A guest at the table asks Layla this while she's going through her mental list of the next several processes in line to achieve optimum server function. As she repeats one table’s order in her head, she's thinking about another table’s missing duck breast, the wine bottle she needed to retrieve from the cellar downstairs, and the dessert menu she needed to drop at a table of women whose teeth, she could assume, were beginning to sweeten by the sounds of curiosity about their dinner's epilogue. As her eyes flit around the room, she sees the bar-top is a full queue of drinks that are getting warm while the service bartender is all elbows- shaking like his lil’ life depends on it. She can't tell if it’s condensation from the shaker tins or sweat flying but it is wet back there. She's relieved to notice someone is clearing one of her tables for her then immediately less relieved that every table in sight needs either water or bread and people are fanning themselves with menus. She hears more drink tickets printing and bows her head to give the bartender psychic regards.
Kawthar AhmedPublished 3 years ago in FeastLenny's in Clearwater, Florida
I love making good memories and I love eating good food. When you go to a good restaurant with someone you love, to me that's creating a good memory. Of course, it doesn't always work out that way and some restaurants have to suffer someone having a bad memory of the place simply because the company that came together weren't in harmony. Recently I went to Lenny's restaurant in Clearwater, Florida with my husband. We were on our way to the mall, had some time to kill and we were feeling hungry. I knew we had passed Lenny's while we were driving up Highway 19 and I suggested we go there for breakfast while we waited for the mall to open. We had just stocked our kitchen with groceries, so it wasn't about the food. It was about having a nice time and making a memory. However, Lenny's food is delicious and so worth whatever they charge.
