Best Chicken liver recipes: 3 PP dishes
Many people, and especially children, do not like the taste of chicken liver and try not to eat this product, despite the frank benefits. In terms of protein content, the liver is practically not inferior to the breast, but surpasses it in the richest set of vitamins and minerals. And for effective weight loss and maintaining a healthy weight, it is important to have a variety of trace elements that come with food, as fat burning catalysts. 100 g of this offal contains 19.2 g of easily digestible protein, 6.2 g of fat and only 0.7 g of carbohydrates. Chicken liver is a valuable source of vitamins A, C, E, B9. Minerals include potassium, iodine, zinc, iron, chromium and copper.

White Bean Dip
I never have anything processed in the house. It is much easier to stay on a diet if you do not have junk food in the house. But, it is a real pain when you feel like a snack, and have to cook something. So, I developed a recipe that I can whip up in a snap. This recipe satisfies the craving for something snacky, while at the same time being very healthy. This is not low carb, but it is high protein and depending on what you have with it, quite healthy.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf
Years ago I worked in the archive department at a bank. When anyone would ask for a copy of a cheque, I was the one to look it up on microfiche (Seriously! This was a while ago but still. Catch up with current technology) I would find the cheque and print it out. It was such a boring job; the phrase mind-numbingly tedious comes to mind. When I first started I was told the goal was to have 4 cheques per hour. I don't know who had the job before I did but I swear they must have moved slower than molasses. When it was time for me to move on I was printing off 40 cheques per hour and that HUGE backlog was gone.

Baked Chicken and Veggies
I tend to eat fairly simply. Making meals for my partner and me to enjoy that are also healthy. Neither of us are getting any younger and he has issues with high cholesterol. I, on the other hand, have issues with low blood pressure. Since eating healthy is good for both of us, I try to cook fairly simple meals, while making them as tasty as I can. This is a recipe I make at least once a week. Quick to prepare and cooks up in under an hour, not including prep time

Mrs Huston's "Sauce"
There is NOTHING worse than finding a recipe that sounds delicious than finding out that the main ingredient is not gluten-free and not easily substituted but it is a very commonplace thing that you would think that in 2022 there HAS to be something you can use as a substitute.

Jacket (Sweet) Potatoes
One of my mother in laws recipes was a traditional British way to make a baked potato. It is a game changer. Who knew that baked potatoes could be addictive? The taste of baked potatoes when cooked this way is truly out of this world. I have made it an ungodly amount of times as it is a favourite of my partners.

Of Ice, Geese, and Carrots
We’ve been officially “ice in” at our small north Iowa lake for two weeks, but there is still a significant ‘donut hole” of open water right in the middle. When I looked out Saturday morning there were four pair of very large birds in that water and up on the edges of the ice. The males were all white and what I took to be females were smaller with more brown on their feathers. They spent about three hours swimming and diving for food before flying off.
