Thyme Carrots
There are some vegetables that are synonymous with Autumn. No, I am not talking about Pumpkin. Carrots, in my own humble opinion, are a great vegetable to eat year round but, especially in the fall. I suppose it may be the orange colouring but carrots have always reminded me of fall.

Christmas tradition-
CHRISTENING ORIGIN Both paganism and Roman culture are responsible for the origins of Christmas. In December, the Romans had two different feasts. The first was a two-week festival called Saturnalia that was held in honor of their agricultural god Saturn. They observed Mithra, their sun god's birth, on December 25. Both parties were rowdy and intoxicated.

The Sweet Side of Christmas
Alabama Tea cake cookies are both crunchy and soft. They’re easy to prepare with the basic ingredients being butter, eggs, flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar. The cream of tartar doesn’t let the sugar crystallize and this makes these cookies soft. Additional ingredients that can be added include lemon zest, vanilla, or a pinch of nutmeg added to the dough.

Chili Garlic Chicken
Ask anyone to say one thing about me and they will probably say that I like my food spicy. VERY spicy. I do not have much of a sweet tooth at all, but give me a bottle of Sriracha and I am a happy girl. I have been known to go through one of the smallish bottles of Sriracha in just over a week. Spicy and savoury trump sweet flavours for me, no question.
