3 twists of freshly ground black pepper (one large pinch)

Pinch of chili powder

1 TBS maple syrup

2 cups cold water

To a high velocity blender, add slashed carrot pieces, lemon juice, ginger, turmeric, dark pepper, stew powder, maple syrup, and cold water. Mix on low speed, bit by bit expanding until everything is integrated.

Ginger Turmeric Carrot Shots

Ingredients

Servings 1:

1 pound carrots (very roughly chopped)

1 fresh turmeric (peeled and coarsley chopped)

1 pound fresh ginger (peeled and coarsley chopped)

3⁄4 cups unsweetened coconut water

1 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

In a high-speed blender, puree the carrots, turmeric, ginger, and 1/2 cup of coconut water into a completely smooth puree for two minutes.

Pour the mixture through a strainer into a clean glass or container and press lightly with a rubber spatula to extract the juice; discard the solid parts.

Add salt and remaining 1/4 cup coconut water.
