costco Cauliflower pizza comes out crunch, you can hold the cut and utilize frozen cauliflower or cauliflower rice to make it. Delicious, low-carb, and the finest recipe on the internet, complete with an easy-to-follow video.

How to Use Cauliflower in Pizza:

Cauliflower has recently become quite popular due to its ability to lessen the carb and calorie content of several traditionally high-carb dishes, such as pizza.

Cauliflower is cut into florets and processed in a food processor until it is fine and grainy, then used as the base of a pizza. It is then cooked, drained of any moisture, and mixed with toppings like eggs, cheddar, and seasonings to produce a sticky surface.

Ingredients for cauliflower pizza:

Cauliflower: You will need about 2.5 – 3 lbs.

Egg: Egg is part of “the glue” that holds cauliflower pizza dough together.

Cheese: As cheese melts during baking, it helps to bind small pieces of cauliflower into a crust. Cheese is crucial! So is the egg.

Spices: Simple dried herbs like oregano, basil or Italian mix plus salt and pepper add flavor to the crust. Cauliflower itself is pretty bland. Also you can add garlic powder.

Cauliflower Crust: To prepare the cauliflower crust, combine cauliflower, rice flour, tapioca starch, water, egg whites, modified rice starch, sugar, yeast, salt, cultivated brown rice, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

Water, tomato paste, salt, cane sugar, dried onion, dried garlic, spices, and sea salt are the components of tomato sauce.

Toppings: Roasted zucchini, roasted bell peppers of all hues, roasted onions, pecorino Romano, Parmesan cheese blend, roasted garlic, and basil are all found on the roasted veggie cauliflower pizza.

Pizza made with cauliflower sold at Costco uses real mozzarella, Parmesan, and Romano cheese.

costco cauliflower pizza Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line baking sheet with unbleached parchment paper or silicone mat.

Before being sliced into smaller pieces and having the outer leaves removed, cauliflower should be properly cleaned. In a food processor, blend in two batches until the texture resembles “rice” (skip if using store-bought “rice”).

On a prepared baking sheet, spread out the cauliflower rice, and bake for 15 minutes. After the cauliflower rice has finished cooking, remove it from the oven, place it in a big bowl, and let it cool for ten to fifteen minutes or until it is safe to handle.

Then, using as much force as you can, squeeze the liquid from the cauliflower ball into the cheesecloth. Be patient and repeat this process several times until hardly no liquid is out.

Raise the oven’s setting to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Combined with dried herbs in a medium mixing bowl, whisk the egg ;Add salt, pepper, and dried herbs for 10 seconds. Add cheese and squeezed cauliflower, and incorporate thoroughly with a spatula.

After scraping out any cauliflower residues, spray the same baking sheet with cooking spray and line it with new parchment paper or silicone mat. Cauliflower pizza dough should be positioned in the middle and pressed flat with your hands until a thin crust forms.

Cook for another few minutes after carefully flipping with a spatula after 20 minutes of baking.

Add your preferred toppings to the cauliflower pizza foundation before baking it once more until the cheese is browned. Use a pizza cutter to cut the pie into 8 slices and enjoy!

Is Cauliflower costco pizza healthy:

It depends on the specific type of cauliflower pizza from Costco and your personal definition of “healthy.” In general, cauliflower crust pizza is often marketed as a healthier alternative to traditional pizza crust because it is lower in carbohydrates and calories. However, it may still contain high levels of sodium, fat, and processed ingredients, depending on the brand.

It’s always a good idea to carefully read the nutrition label and ingredients list to get a clear picture of the nutritional value of any food product, including cauliflower crust pizza. Additionally, it’s important to consider the portion size and frequency of consumption as part of a balanced and varied diet.

costco cauliflower pizza Notes:

Store:Refrigerate leftovers covered for up to 2 days.

Freeze: Bake, cool and wrap in plastic wrap. Or place in a resealable extra large Ziploc bag. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw completely before baking with toppings.

You will use the oven three times: once to bake the crust, once to cook the “rice,” and once to bake pizza with toppings. Keeping the oven running is simpler.

Microwave: As an alternative to baking in the oven, you can also cook “rice” in the microwave for around 8 minutes.

The best piece of advise I can offer is to thoroughly squeeze cooled, cooked cauliflower.

The Costco frozen cauliflower pizza should be baked at 425 F for 12 to 15 minutes. You can, however, alter the temperature and timing if you’d like.

Another option is to prepare cauliflower-based pizza for 20 to 25 minutes at 400 or 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
