Science Has Proven (Again) That Appreciation Makes Us More Charitable (And Happy)
As we drown in a sea of stress, countless calm and staid gurus remind us of the necessity of appreciation in maintaining a hold on our existence - so screwed up that it frequently appears to slip out of our hands. The mindfulness advice that is more relevant than ever for this historical moment that has put us all to the test is to constantly find a moment to practice thankfulness, aka the habit that does a lot of good for our mental and physical wellbeing. That's not all: it can even modify our brain such that it becomes unselfish. Yes, as Vox reports, a massive body of research on gratitude conducted over the last 20 years - involving real VIPs in psychology and psychiatry - has revealed that there is a profound physical connection between gratitude and altruism, so much so that both positive traits share a neural path inside our brain. To cut a long tale short, when we feel grateful for anything, our brain immediately becomes more kind and tolerant of others. And the advantages are numerous.

What Is the 'Liking Gap,' and Why Are Individuals Frightened of Being Hated by Everyone?
Consider the following scenario: you and a new acquaintance (or perhaps an old acquaintance you haven't seen in a long time) are speaking normally, gently moving from topic to topic. The tone of the discourse is friendly. I'm doing fantastic, you thought between two assenting smiles. You smile at each other. A concept enters your mind hours or days later. God, I should not have said that. You can't stop replaying the talk, focused on where you went wrong. You eventually conclude that the other person thinks you're a complete moron.

What Is the Key to a Good Marriage? Understanding How to Fight
Have you ever considered the idea of marriage? What does it mean to you? Many couples nowadays are just concerned with the big day, forgetting that marriage is everything else. The days ahead, when the spotlights are turned off, the sequins and sequins are removed, and we find ourselves running the house and paying off debts to make the big day unforgettable. Daphne de Marneffe, a psychologist and expert in couples counseling, came to this conclusion in her New York Times column. "People are still getting engaged, and how: according to Wedding Wire data, the peak is between Thanksgiving and Valentine's Day, but most of them are all focused on to-do lists to be processed, on countdowns, suppliers, and places, neglecting the far more crucial post ".

Relationships
Relationships Someone asked me the question, ‘What are the five stages of a relationship?” Honestly I didn't know and, so I googled it. Being somewhat college educated and having read, "Venus and Mars in the Bedroom" and " Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus, " I thought that I knew everything. Well, let me tell you folks those books are really old now as am I.

The Advice of my Mother
"I think you have to duplicate yourself, by showing them respect as a mother and as a friend. That makes it easier for your daughter to come to you about anything. Your daughter should always know that ‘Mommy is my friend, but she is also my mom. That means I need to have a certain respect for her.’ That is why we talk about everything, MJ. I think you and your sister would talk to me before you talk to your girlfriends. And I believe our relationship is contagious to other people, and that allows people to be free around us as well.

Tom Brady-Selfish, Egotistical, Self-Centered?
I honestly thought my opinion on this matter was an unarguable no-brainer — that Tom Brady, supposedly the Greatest (football player) Of All Time (GOAT in today’s vernacular), is selfish, egotistical, and self-centered to the point of allowing his needs to destroy his marriage and family.

The Disney Genie Plus, Lightning Lane. Does it Work like Magic?
We did it. We put the My Disney Experience app to the ultimate test. We were traveling with a group of people, 11 in total. It was a family trip, celebrating the college graduation of my niece and son with their closest friends. We had begun making arrangements months earlier. I think it was January or February. Far enough in advance to make dining reservations. The earliest for Disney Dining is 60 days prior to travel. Rule number one, planning your dates is crucial to getting into the restaurants you want.
