Affects of Drugs on Children
I will be discussing the effects of these specific drugs on children: Chloral Hydrate (CH), Meperidine (M), and Hydroxyzine (H) (regimen A) versus Midazolam (MZ), M, and H (regimen B). There was a study done using sixteen children I will be using as evidence to support my case. I will be rating the medication based on their effectiveness and side effects on the children. Many parents are faced with important decisions for their children in life; however, many are pressured into making the wrong decision for their children when it comes to medication. Parents are pressured by doctors and teachers to medicate their children, while only being told that it is experimental. They are not given the proper risk in the scenarios. This leads to parents making the wrong choice for their child’s well being, and it can lead to faulty practical and ethical decisions.

Aunt. This word has so much meaning. You have the role of mother without all the hassle, you're looked as the fun one, or sometimes the mean one. You get to spoil the heck out your nieces or nephews without the guilt. And at times you have to step up and discipline time to time. But what makes becoming an aunt the most special thing in your life? It is the fact that no matter what, a part of you will be in that child.
Ashwini EngineerPublished 6 years ago in FamiliesMy Speech for My Sister's Wedding
Good evening everyone, my name is Anita and I’m the bride's baby sister. What I loved the most about growing up with my sister was she always had my back. I remember a time that I was in middle school and I was being bullied by this girl. When I told Becky at that time she was a math tutor at my school, she stopped everything she was doing dragged me up the hill and she waited for the girl; luckily for the girl, she never came. She was always the best kind of entertainment for me, when I was bored. She use to let me sit on her legs and have me use her feet to control which way the rollercoaster will go. Even way back at our grandmother house, she put a show on for me and my cousins called “Stage.” But Becky isn’t just a super hero, a best friend, to me. She’s like that all the time with anyone she come in contact with. My Becky lights up a room, has a million dollar smile, an award winning personality and is the first one to help a friend in need.
Surprised
So many things that I know now, I wish I knew then. Pregnancy was rough for me. Really rough. Although I had a textbook normal healthy pregnancy I was absolutely miserable. Don’t get me wrong I love my little bundle of joy and I wouldn’t trade him for he world. I do however wish I knew what it was going to be like being pregnant before hand. Everyone, even people who hated being pregnant, acted like it was such a fun process... that is until I couldn’t do anything about being preggers. This is how my pregnancy went:

Sadly, we know that when parents are angry and lose control, "reasonable force" often escalates into full-blown abuse, and that’s when most infant homicides occur.

Erin DaviePublished 6 years ago in FamiliesDepression In Pregnancy
So the pregnancy test has been taken, the good news has been shared and congratulations have been accepted. Everyone is telling you how happy you must be yet, you place a smile on your face and nod away, but inside you are feeling far from excited. You may in fact be feeling very unhappy.
The Boggy Bits
It was my mum’s birthday on the 19 July. She would sing a song as we walked along. I don’t remember it very well as it was a long time ago that we walked along as a family but the bit I do remember was…”Keep your eyes on the path or you won’t see the boggy bits!”

People everywhere are always interested in subjects that are not, what they call, "normal" or the majority. In this case, I am going to write about something most people find an interest in. I'm talking about twins. Yup, that's right, twins. The reason to create this article is because I am a twin. Though most of what I say may not go for all twins, but I know for a fact that the other sets of twins that I personally know as well as myself and my sister, it's all true.
