Private detective, Jack, was sitting in his office when he received a call from a client. The client, Mr. Smith, was worried about his business partner, Mr. Johnson, who had disappeared a few days ago. Smith suspected that Johnson had been murdered and wanted Jack to investigate.

Jack accepted the case and began investigating. He discovered that Johnson had last been seen at his house, where he lived alone with his pet parrot named Paco. Jack visited Johnson's house and found Paco in his cage. Paco seemed to be nervous and scared.

Jack approached the cage and started talking to Paco. To his surprise, Paco started talking to him. Paco told him that he had seen someone enter Johnson's house the night he disappeared. Paco described the suspect as a tall, thin man with a scar on his cheek

Jack was excited to have such an unusual witness, but knew he couldn't completely trust a parrot's word. He decided to look for more evidence. He searched Johnson's house and found a note that said: “Meet you at the dock at 10 pm.” He also found a lock of hair that did not belong to Johnson.

Jack decided to go to the dock that night to see if he could find any clues. At 10 pm, he saw a tall, thin man with a scar on his cheek. The man was talking to another man that Jack didn't recognize. Jack took a few photos and left before being seen.

The next day, Jack took the photos to the police and told them everything he knew. Police arrested the tall, thin man with the scar on his cheek. He turned out to be Smith's business partner, Mr. Jones. Jones had killed Johnson because he wanted to keep the entire business for himself.

But the story does not end here. Jack began receiving anonymous calls at his office. The person on the other end of the line simply breathed heavily and then hung up. Jack thought he was just someone playing a prank, but the calls continued for weeks.

One night, Jack was working late in his office when he heard a strange noise. He stood up from his chair and walked towards the door. The door was locked, but Jack could sense something was behind it. Suddenly, the door burst open and Jack found himself face to face with a tall, thin man with a scar on his cheek.

The man smiled evilly and took out a knife. Jack tried to run, but the man caught up to him and stabbed him in the shoulder. Jack fell to the ground, screaming in pain. The man approached him and whispered in his ear: “Stop investigating or next time you won't be so lucky.”

Jack passed out and when he woke up, he was in the hospital. Police could not find the tall, thin man with the scar on his cheek. Jack knew that he had to find the man before it was too late.

He decided to return to Johnson's house to look for more clues. While searching the house, she found a note that said: “See you at the dock at 10 pm.” Jack remembered that he had seen the tall, thin man with the scar on his cheek on the dock the night he took the photos.

Jack decided to go to the dock that night to confront the man. He arrived early and hid behind a cargo container. At 10 pm, he saw the tall, thin man with the scar on his cheek walking towards him. Jack came out of hiding from him and confronted the tall, thin man with the scar on his cheek. The man pulled out a knife and lunged at Jack. But Jack was ready. He had brought pepper spray with him and sprayed it into the man's eyes.

The man screamed in pain and fell to the ground. Jack handcuffed him and called the police. When they arrived, Jack handed the man over to them and told them everything that had happened.

It turned out that the man was a serial killer who had been stalking Jack for weeks. He had killed Johnson and was trying to kill Jack to prevent him from catching him.

Thanks to Jack's cunning and the help of Paco, the talking parrot, the murderer was captured and brought to justice. Jack recovered from his injuries and continued working as a private detective.
