Michael James Pratt, the owner of a porn website and an FBI wanted man, was apprehended in Spain. One of the FBI's ten most wanted fugitives, Michael James Pratt, the owner of a porn website, has been apprehended in Spain, the agency announced on Friday.

The FBI reported that Pratt, who was added to the infamous "10 Most Wanted Fugitives" list in September, was captured on Wednesday in Madrid by Spanish authorities. According to a news release from the FBI, he was charged in a 19-count indictment with sex trafficking, the creation of child pornography, sex trafficking of a minor, and conspiracy to launder money in connection with a porn website he co-owned.

Federal and international partners were credited in a statement by Special Agent in Charge Stacey Moy of the FBI San Diego Field Office for ensuring Pratt was "brought to justice." A New Zealand fugitive on the FBI's most wanted list was apprehended, according to a tweet posted earlier on Friday by the Spanish national police.

Only Pratt represents New Zealand on the list. The FBI alleges that Pratt, who is a co-owner of the adult websites "GirlsDoPorn" and "GirlsDoToys," participated in a scheme from 2012 to 2019 to enlist young adults and minors to "engage in commercial sex acts by force, fraud, and coercion."

According to the FBI, he and his accomplices allegedly recruited women from all over the United States and Canada by posting fictitious internet ads for clothing modelling jobs, which the victims later discovered were pornographic productions. According to officials, some of the allegations include forcing women to perform sex acts and preventing them from leaving shooting locations until the videos were finished.

Other allegations include sexual assault and forcing women to perform sex acts. According to the bureau, Pratt's pornographic websites brought in more than $17 million.

Since a federal arrest warrant was issued for Pratt in the Southern District of California of the U.S. District Court in November of that year, he has been on the run. In September, the FBI added him to its most wanted list and announced a reward of up to $100,000 for information that would result in his capture. ERO is responsible for overseeing every step of the immigration enforcement process, including detention, transportation, supervision, identification and arrest, bond management, and removal. Additionally, ERO returns foreign nationals who were ordered to leave the United States to more than 170 nations worldwide.
