Man Sexually Assaulted 81-Year-Old Grandma, Uncle in Meth-Fueled Attack

He will spend 15 years in prison for the attack

By True Crime WriterPublished 11 months ago 3 min read

Aundre Willie Johnson raped a woman when he was a 15-year-old teenager, landing him a spot on the SOR as a registered sex offender. He lived his life on the edge. By 2014, Aundre, then 34-years-old, had several felony convictions on his record, including one for robbery, and was a full-time methamphetamine user.

On July 1, 2014, Johnson broke into his 82-year-old grandmother’s home in Portland, Oregon, where she lived with his uncle. Inside the home, At around 10 p.m., Johnson walked into his grandmother’s bedroom where she slept. Without hesitation, Johnson raped his grandmother.

“This is grandma, this is grandma,” she repeatedly told her grandson during the attack. Those words did not stop Johnson. She later told police Johnson was “foaming at the mouth” during the attack. She also told of how she thought she was going to die during the attack. Mrs. Johnson suffered from heart problems. The attack left her bruised, swollen, and “bleeding behind her pacemaker,” according to official reports from the incident.

Johnson Attacked Uncle

After attacking his grandmother, Johnson did not waste any time walking into his uncle's bedroom where he planned to continue his attack. The 49-year-old saw his nephew bust into the room, telling police he looked like "a bull in a china shop." Johnson attempted to rape his uncle, although was fought off.

Johnson's uncle fled the home. Mrs. Johnson, meanwhile, had called police. They soon arrived at the home and transported the elderly woman to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Police searched for Johnson but could not locate him that evening. They apprehended him the following morning at a nearby McDonald's restaurant. He was immediately taken into police custody and charged with attempted first-degree rape, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, and four counts of first-degree sexual abuse. The sexual abuse counts include crimes committed against his grandmother as well as his uncle and another female relative.

The other female relative came forward after Johnson's arrest. She told officers Johnson had raped her several months before the attack against his grandmother and uncle, although she was afraid to come forward at that time.

The uncle told officers at the scene that his nephew suffered from meth addiction. His toxicology reports proved as much, as they revealed the drug in his system.

Grandma Planned to Testify Against Grandson at Trial

Luvicer Johnson planned to testify against her grandson at his trial, although she did not get the opportunity. Johnson pleaded guilty to the charges against him. He then accepted a plea deal sentencing him to 15 years in prison. He currently serves his time at Two Rivers Correctional Facility. He is eligible for release in 2029.

Mrs. Johnson filed a lawsuit against her grandson seeking compensation for therapy and medication needed after the attack. She settled for $35,000, the amount of money Johnson received from his father's life insurance policy payout two months earlier.

Mrs. Johnson Relocated to a New Home

Mrs. Johnson immediately sold the bedroom set where she had been attacked by her grandson. The trauma of living in the home where the attack occurred also weighed heavily on her heart and mind. A year after the attack, Mrs. Johnson was finally able to move into a new place.

She moved into a new place a year later.

She moved out of the home and purchased a new bedroom set. A year after the attack, Johnson told reporters she was happy to wake up each day, despite dealing with severe PTSD and anxiety attack had left her with.

Mrs. Johnson passed away two years after the attack on October 7, 2016.

Oh God, I didn't expect it to be his own grandma! Gosh, I feel so sorry for her! And he even wanted to rape his own uncle! Crazy!
