The apparent suicide death of Kyle Jacobs, a songwriter and the husband of country music star and former "American Idol" contestant Kellie Pickler. The 49-year-old Jacobs was discovered dead inside the couple's Nashville-area home on Friday, and the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said that his death is being investigated as an apparent suicide.

Pickler, 36, allegedly told police she woke up just before the incident and dialed 911 when she and her personal assistant were unable to open the door to the upstairs bedroom. The 911 call was received by Nashville's Department of Emergency Communications at 12:21. 2011.

Pickler and Jacobs got married. In 2015, they both made an appearance on the reality programmed "I Love Kellie Pickler." Jacobs contributed to the writing of several popular songs, including Tim McGraw's 2009 song "Still" and Garth Brooks' 2007 hit "More Than a Memory.

" Among many others, he has written songs for Kelly Clarkson, Scotty McCreery, and his wife.

Pickler and Derek Hough, a professional partner, won the 16th season of "Dancing With the Stars" in 2013. She started her music career in 2006 by placing in the Top 6 of "American Idol" Season 5.

On New Year's Day, Jacobs and Pickler celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary. He celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary in 2022 by sharing a touching Instagram post about his wife.

He wrote: "Her mind, heart,arend soul arcommittedly committed to our first responders ;ntheymareitary, but it is convicted to let them know that they are loved and apprecia"And the good news is... she loves me as well."

Kelly Clarkson, Randy Travis, Scott McCreery, and Tim McGraw. He even contributed to the writing of Garth Brooks' 2007 No. 1 hit song, "More Than a Memory." Pickler first gained notoriety when she finished sixth on "American Idol," and she later wed Jacobs in 2011.

There are no children between the couple. The couple, who have been married for ten years, co-hosted the reality series "I Love Kellie Pickler" on CMT from 2015 to 2017.
