"On October 24, 2017, the FBI added Alejandro Rosales Castillo (born November 26, 1998) to its list of the Ten Most Wanted Fugitives. He is wanted in connection with the Charlotte, North Carolina, slaying of Truc Quan "Sandy" Ly Le in August 2016. Castillo was added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list as the 516th fugitive. A reward of up to $100,000 is being offered by the FBI for information that results in his capture.

Castillo was born in Arizona on November 26, 1998. He is a native Spanish and English speaker. In 2016, a 17-year-old Castillo and Truc Quan "Sandy" Ly Le, 23, were coworkers at a Showmars restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina. They reportedly had a brief relationship, and Le had given Castillo a loan at one point that he never returned. Ahmia Feaster, a 19-year-old coworker who had replaced Castillo as his girlfriend following their breakup, was another one of their coworkers.

Le received a text message from Castillo on August 9, in which he expressed his desire to repay her for the money she had previously lent him. Le consented to meet Castillo at a Charlotte QuikTrip on Eastway Drive. That afternoon, Feaster picked up Castillo and drove him to the meeting in her red Dodge Caliber. Le agreed to meet Castillo at the QuikTrip, where she was last seen alive. It's thought that Castillo, possibly using a gun, forced Le to withdraw the entire amount from her bank account rather than paying her back. Le's uncle claimed that her bank records indicated that she had taken $1,000 out of an ATM.

There was no money left in her bank account after this withdrawal. Then, according to investigators, Castillo took Le to a forested area in Cabarrus County and fatally shot her there. Then, her dead body was dropped in a ravine. Then Castillo and Feaster sped off in Le's 2003 Toyota Corolla, a black 4-door model. Castillo and Feaster drove from North Carolina to Phoenix, Arizona, after killing Le. They left Le's car in Phoenix at a bus stop, where it was later discovered abandoned on August 15.

Then Castillo and Feaster travelled to Nogales, Arizona, from where they entered Mexico. Castillo was seen on surveillance footage entering Mexico from the US. Since then, no one has seen him. Castillo may still be hiding in Mexico, possibly in San Francisco de los Romo or Pabellón de Arteaga in the state of Aguascalientes, according to investigators. He might also be evading capture in Veracruz or Guanajuato. Castillo and Feaster were reported missing on August 11 and 12, while Le was reported missing the day after she was killed. The Dodge Caliber belonging to Feaster was discovered abandoned on August 13 in Charlotte's 11000 block of Dulin Creek Boulevard.

Feaster and Castillo reportedly called their families later that day to let them know they were safe but unsure of their location. Both families thought that the pair had been forced to make the calls because they were being held captive after they received the phone calls.

Le's body was discovered in a wooded area in Cabarrus County on August 17, 2016. She had received one headshot. According to the investigators, robbery was the only possible motive for the murder. Castillo was charged with first-degree murder on November 2, 2016.

On February 10, 2017, he was subsequently charged with taking an unauthorised flight to evade prosecution. Feaster surrendered to the authorities in Aguascalientes, Mexico, on October 20, 2016. She contacted her mother, who worked with American authorities to set up her pick-up at the airport. Feaster was apprehended on October 22 by the Harris County Sheriff's Office in the vicinity of Houston, Texas, after being extradited back to the country.

She was accused of felony murder and theft of a motor vehicle, as well as being an accessory after the fact. Her bail was set at $100,000 for accessory after the fact and $25,000 for larceny of a motor vehicle. She was eventually moved to the Mecklenburg County Jail, where she was released on January 18 after posting bond. Feaster claimed that Castillo and she had been residing with his cousins in Aguascalientes.

Castillo vanished and then vanished again during the two months that they were residing there. Featured Subjects and Keywords
