Teenage years
Shattered Dreams
Adam sat alone in the park, the autumn leaves falling around him like the pieces of his shattered heart. The memories of Sarah, his lost love, echoed in the rustling breeze. Their love story had begun with laughter and stolen glances, but now it ended in a symphony of heartbreak. He first noticed Sarah in a crowded bookstore, her eyes flickering with curiosity as she scanned the shelves. A casual conversation about favorite authors quickly turned into a deep connection. Their shared love for literature was the foundation of a beautiful relationship. They spent hours discussing plots, characters, and the magic of words. As their love blossomed, they ventured beyond the pages of books and explored the real world together. Picnics in the park, lazy Sunday mornings with coffee, and spontaneous road trips filled their days. Adam cherished the way Sarah's laughter could light up even the gloomiest of moments, and he believed their love was unbreakable. However, life has a way of testing the strongest bonds, and theirs was no exception. Sarah's career took an unexpected turn, demanding her presence in a city miles away. Adam, devoted and unwilling to let go, tried to make the long-distance work. Late-night calls and virtual dates became their new normal, but the distance gradually started to chip away at the foundation they had built. The turning point came when Sarah started spending more time with a colleague, someone who was physically present in her life. The once vibrant conversations between Adam and Sarah grew strained, punctuated by awkward silences. Adam sensed a shift, an unspoken distance that tore at his heart. One evening, Sarah's voice trembled over the phone as she uttered the words Adam had been dreading. She needed space. The distance, both physical and emotional, had become too much for her to bear. Adam felt his world crumble as the words hung heavy in the air. The love that had once been their sanctuary now lay broken, scattered like the leaves around him. Days turned into a haze of sorrow as Adam grappled with the reality of his heartbreak. The park, once a place of shared laughter and stolen kisses, became a haunting reminder of what he had lost. Each step felt heavier, burdened by the weight of unspoken goodbyes and shattered dreams. In an attempt to heal, Adam immersed himself in the world of books, seeking solace in the stories that once connected him to Sarah. But even the words on the pages couldn't fill the void left by her absence. He found himself revisiting the moments they shared, replaying the laughter and conversations that now felt like distant echoes. One rainy afternoon, Adam stumbled upon a worn-out copy of their favorite novel. The pages were stained with tears, a testament to the emotional journey they had shared. As he flipped through the book, a handwritten note from Sarah fluttered to the ground. The words, once filled with love and promises, now felt like a cruel reminder of what was lost. The park, now adorned with raindrops clinging to the leaves, became a canvas for Adam's emotions. He sat on the same bench where they had once carved their initials, tracing the fading marks with a sense of longing. The rain mirrored his tears, merging with the memories that lingered in the air. In the midst of his heartache, Adam discovered the therapeutic power of letting go. He began to accept that some love stories are meant to be cherished for what they were, rather than clinging to what they could have been. With each raindrop that fell, he released a piece of the pain that gripped his heart. One day, as the sun broke through the clouds, Adam realized that healing was a gradual process. The park, no longer a haunting reminder, became a place of reflection and growth. He started to find joy in the simple pleasures of life, appreciating the beauty of each moment. Months passed, and Adam emerged from the cocoon of heartbreak transformed. The scars remained, but they became a testament to his resilience. The park, once a witness to his sorrow, now echoed with the laughter of children and the rustle of leaves in the gentle breeze. Adam's heartbreak became a chapter in the book of his life, a poignant reminder of the ebb and flow of love. As he walked away from the park, the sun casting a warm glow on his face, he carried with him the lessons learned from a love that had once defined him. The pages of his story turned, and though the chapter of Sarah had ended, a new chapter awaited, filled with possibilities and the promise of a healed heart.

The Power of Confession: Healing and Transformation
In a world where vulnerability is often seen as a weakness, the act of confession stands out as a powerful tool for healing and transformation. Confession, in its essence, is the act of acknowledging one's faults, mistakes, or sins. While traditionally associated with religious practices, confession has a much broader application in our daily lives, offering a path to emotional, mental, and spiritual growth.

Adorable MOM
MOM, In the quiet corner of a small town, nestled amidst rolling hills and whispering meadows, lived a young guy, me. With a heart full of dreams I walk in my way by taking breaths. But behind my every breathing, lay a hidden pain—a void left by the absence of my mother, who had passed away. My mother had been my guiding light, my source of inspiration, and without her, I often felt adrift in a sea of uncertainty. Yet, even in death, her mother's presence lingered like a gentle breeze, whispering words of encouragement in the wind. I still can fill her with me. My Mother is the best mom in the world. Everyone's MOM is the best, my MOM too. She was a teacher with four kids of her own and hundreds in her school. At a very early age she lost her husband and then I treated her both mom and dad. My father is an army person. He could hardly maintain time for us and my Mom as well. My mother, alone, handles the whole family, and also kids. Time was hander uring those periods. It is very hard for her to maintain everything. She managed a job, Teaching. My mother is very kind and generous. Teaching is the best professional choice for her career and also our family. Later my mom started to contribute to our family.

That New York Apartment.
I never thought that I would be here I am today. I had so many reasons to run. Of course leaving hurt. It hurt like nothing else in the world and I was supper scared. I was so tired of being the girl that I was. I felt stuck in the place that most others think is so freeing. I’m sorry that I left but it was for the best even though something always felt odd. I watched the city change. I don’t know New York anymore. Someone had to have left first. I knew deep down that it would be me. I don’t think the people I loved knew that I was going to leave the way I did but I knew when I was young that I wouldn’t stay in the city. I did the minimum anyone asked me, always shouting but not to loud. Just trying to blend in with the rage of NYC.

Crumbling Pedestals
It took me nearly 20 years to realize I never really loved you. That sounds harsh, but it’s not. It’s just true. We knew each other when we were 13. We knew Winget’s art class. We knew endless jokes and laughter, music sharing, poem swapping, commiserating over our adolescent life experiences, and the fact that no one else understood us. When you moved out of state in the middle of the school year, my teenage soul was crushed. In you I had found a twin flame. Our home lives and pasts were entirely different, but we found familiarity anyway - and safety - in each other. I wrote to you. I knew you struggled with the move. I felt sad for you, and for me. I was quite a romantic child and admittedly haven’t changed much…I romanticized the notion of soul mates. I dreamed of us reuniting one day. I wrote about you in my journal a lot. I had crushes on other boys, but I felt innately connected to you in a way I’ve never been able to explain.
