Stream of Consciousness
Dear Friend. Top Story - August 2026.
Dear Friend, I know that I can be testing sometimes, and I know I get too stressed out at times. Like you, I have my problems; after all, I am only human. However, I thought you understood, and my questions were only to protect my heart, dignity, and soul. Sometimes, we have to ask those uncomfortable questions, even if they cause awkward moments.

I Am The Laziest Vocal Creator. Content Warning.
Introduction Every piece I write that is less than six hundred words makes me feel that I am the laziest of all Vocal Creators. The music is "Lazyitis" by The Happy Mondays. Appropriate? I think so.

The Real Reason The US Army Can't Fill Its Ranks
In fiscal year 2022, the U.S. Army recruited 44,901 new soldiers against a target of 60,000 — a completion rate of 74.8%. This marked one of the lowest recruitment figures since the inception of the all-volunteer force in 1973. During the same period, approximately 71% of Americans aged 17–24 were ineligible for service due to obesity, drug use, criminal records, or failure to meet academic standards. Among the small minority who were eligible, only about 9% expressed a willingness to enlist.

Our Time
Introduction I had an issue with PayPal recently, they decided it would take ten days to credit my PayPal account despite the money leaving my bank account after a few days. While I was slightly annoyed, I knew there was nothing wrong, and after a couple of emails, I decided to just wait and not waste my time.

Surreality
I was looking through a drawer earlier today. What exactly I was looking for doesn't matter, however, as much as what I found: pictures. Photos taken when I was little, from a family vacation we took to the Alabama Gulf Coast. I recognized my own face in the images, and my sisters. Surprisingly, my cousins were there, too, along with my favorite aunt. The longer I stared at those pictures, however, the more unsettled I became.

I wish I could go out. Top Story - July 2026.
I want to have a life. I'm not saying that I'm not alive or living, but my life lacks a certain purpose. For years, everything has been the same; get up, go to work or school, go home, eat then sleep. It's a routine I'm used to-- and a difficult one to break. When I am able, I use whatever free time I have to be unproductive. Not just in the working sense; but in the life sense. I don't spend time with friends or family. I rarely have the motivation to do anything creative and gaming sometimes can feel like a chore. I spend my time curled up in bed or on the couch mindlessly watching whatever until the time for the next part of my day comes along.

Disability Envy. Top Story - July 2026.
Every time I see a post on Social Media talking about disability, there is inevitably multiple comments engaging in Disability Envy. Most of them fall into the category of "Person Who Knows Nothing About Being Disabled Being An Ableist Jerk", but some are what I refer to as "Fell Through The Cracks" Disability Envy.

How Horse Riding Taught Me Masturbation
It was just a regular afternoon ride with this bay gelding named Ranger. Nothing special about the day. Warm, dusty, the usual trail through the oaks behind the barn. My instructor had already sent me off for a cool-down alone. So it was just me and him, walking then trotting then settling into this easy canter.

I Was the Office Doormat Until I Sent One Memo—and It Brought Down My Boss
Aiden Cross was bringing his fourth double espresso to his lips when the glass curtain wall of the office tower sliced the three o’clock sun into a blunt blade and laid it clean across his desk. His phone buzzed.
