I Ruined My Relationship
I ruined my relationship. It was the fear that gripped my throat after he got down on one knee. After the rush of love and excitement that I felt for the man I spent so many long years with the moment I had been so desperate for had finally come. I said yes! Of course I did, I had given everything for this man. I had changed myself, reworked and reshaped myself for him, but… why didn’t it feel right? Why did the rush of being engaged fade so quickly? Sitting in the car while he went into the store to grab a tool for work after having just proposed his love to me, why did it fade? Why did the smile slide off my face as I stared at that ring? That beautiful, glittering jewel that I never thought I’d be lucky enough to finally see on my finger only left my throat feeling dry. My heart sunk… Then the thoughts whirled around in my head, chasing each other faster and faster.

How Beijing Shapes Global Sanctions
China’s Strategic Veto: How Beijing Shapes Global Sanctions In the complex arena of international diplomacy, few tools carry as much weight as economic sanctions. They are designed to pressure governments, deter aggression, and enforce global norms without resorting to military force. Yet, the effectiveness of sanctions often depends not only on intent but on consensus—particularly within the United Nations Security Council. Here, one country’s decision can shift the entire outcome, and China has increasingly used its position to influence that balance.

Drowning the Sky
The Atlantic does not apologize. It does not explain itself, does not soften its edges for the sake of human comfort. It is a grey, churning throat that swallows the light of the sun without hesitation and returns only salt, bone, and the quiet certainty that nothing cast into it is ever truly given back.

All The Light in The Room
I leave the lamp on, and the choice hits me all at once, like something that can’t be taken back. My shirt is already on the floor. I remember pulling it over my head without thinking, easy in the moment, automatic. Standing here with nothing between me and the light feels different. The air finds everything. My breasts hang lower than I want them to. There is no correcting it in this light. They shift when I breathe. My stomach rests forward, soft, moving with me instead of holding still the way I always wish it would. My thighs press together and stay there, taking up the space they take up whether I agree with it or not. I feel all of it, a full awareness I usually cut off before it gets this far.

'The Cult of NatureBoy' Documentary Commentary Part III. Content Warning.
Why are cults so attractive? The documentary explores the notion of Eligio Bishop aka NatureBoy toying with, manipulating, and subjugating these people. He called himself God, he encouraged men and women to perform sexual acts, and he wanted the women to cater to him the most. He demanded that he be massaged and oiled down like he had achieved status of that of some feudal lord.

Growing Up at Menards. Honorable Mention in I Made It Worse Challenge. Top Story - May 2026.
With an IQ of 145 and 800 on my SATs, I’ve never understood why Dad insists I’m “just a child in a grown man’s body.” Take action. Be a man. Do something with your life…blah blah blah.

Dinner Anyone?
Well, dear, your dinner ended up on the floor. I’m so sorry. I know apologies don’t always make things right, but it wasn’t my fault. Of course, had you come home earlier last night, you could have tried it with me, and it was good, quite yummy. I enjoyed it while watching TV, but you were bowling.
