Liz DufresnePublished 6 years ago in BlushCalling All Mascara Lovers
Someone once asked me if I was stranded on an island and could only bring one thing, what would it be? Immediately, with no hesitation, I said mascara. Now, you're probably thinking, "This girl is absolutely ridiculous. Normal people would say water or a knife or something practical."

Lemme start with saying PLS IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED OUT THIS FOUNDATION YET, GO AND GET A SAMPLE!!!! Personally, Giorgio Armani’s luminous silk is definitely a holy grail in my books. It’s quite hard to explain, because it's luminous and glowy but still holds up all day and can be built to the fullest coverage or sheered down. Either way, it feels like you have absolutely nothing on your face, which is a major deal for me. Personally, I hate being able to “feel” my foundation on. I would say that luminous silk is good for all skin types, especially if your skin's dry and crusty like mine. If you have oily skin, I would use a primer and keep a compact to touch up throughout the day. It may sound annoying, but once you get this foundation on your face, touching up will see almost worth it. I personally don’t usually ever go for a full coverage look regardless of the day. I enjoy being able to see some of my skin peek through my foundation so I only use one pump of this foundation and in my opinion, I think one pump is perfect at just evening out your complexion. I’m not gonna lie, the foundation is a little on the pricier side, going for about $70 depending on where you live, but a little does go an extremely long way! I’ve had mine for about four months now and I still have half a bottle after testing and using it every day. Definitely a holy grail, and if you have the budget/ want to treat yourself, I would highly recommend!

On my makeup Instagram page, I did a couple eyeshadow pictures that were inspired by famous cartoon characters. This look was inspired by Dick Dastardly from Wacky Races, and if you don't know who that is, you must be a fetus still...

Us makeup lovers can appreciate a good palette, because they include a great variety of products. Whether it's an eyeshadow palette, contour palette, or a highlighter palette, palettes always feature more than three colors to play around with. And you can mix and match the colors on an eyeshadow palette to come up with tons of unique eye looks. For a contour palette, everything we need to contour comes in that one palette, which is so nifty! Even if we do get our hands on one highlighting palette... we need another one. Yes, there are different shades in the palette, but every palette sets a different color scheme. Which means we need all of the different color schemes.

Hey everyone, today I have a review on the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette which I bought on Monday from Beauty Bay for £37 which is just over £1 per eyeshadow as there are 35 colours in this palette. The colours look as if they are made for different eye colours and skin tones which is really nice for a palette.

Lipstick and Skin Tone I have so many lipstick tubes at home, in my purse and in my desk drawer at work. Clinique, Estee Lauder and many other brands run a gift with purchase at most department stores. You spend a certain amount of money and you receive a makeup bag filled with different products. Among those is usually a tube of lipstick. The colors are always beautiful. They may not look that great with my skin tone and coloring but the colors are beautiful. I have so many tubes in an array of colors that it looks like an artist palette.

Whether going to work, school, or casually to the mall, some of us want to still wear makeup, but not too much of it. We don't want to show up to class with glitter eye lids or black smokey eyes, unless you want to, I'm not judging. But for those who want to wear minimal makeup, there are natural eye looks that can fulfill your needs of effortless makeup!
