During the course of my time as a radio show host, I came to learn that my tastes in music are diverse in many ways, both in time periods and in genres. One of the show formats that I tested out was an educational format, knitting together my educational background, my culture as a fifth-generation musician, and the number of music-related subcultures I have found myself to be a part of.

Tell us about you: As a person I used to be a soccer coach and I studied to be an EMT. In my free time I like to play sports, such as soccer, football and do some boxing. Besides DJing and playing sports, I love to spend time with my family and friends. Whenever I find time, I like to go to the beach and think about my future, mistakes I have made and think of new ways to improve on my beats and music. So, to begin with, I met the artist who would become Accent Sorrow about 5 or 6 years ago through one of my closest friends. I didn't have too many initial reactions of him, though I did know I wasn't a tremendous fan of his taste of music. They provided remixes for the legendary artist, tobyMac on his remix album “Dubbed & Frequed”. Through this connection Toby liked their style and signed them on his record label Gotee Records. They released their debut album titled “Capital Kings” in 2013. The album has ten songs and features collaborations from artists like Toby Mac, Britt Nicole, Royal Tailor, and Solomon Olds(aka Soul Glow Activatur). Their album is a mixture of dubstep, electronic pop, house, hip-hop, rap, and dance music.
