LATAUSHA
IAMLATAUSHA started her journey in the music industry almost 15 years ago as a songwriter and recording artist under the moniker Cold-Hearted. Born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, she faced a lot of challenges trying to “make it” in the music industry in a market with limited resources, capital to invest, and knowledge of how the music business actually works. All she knew is that she had a passion for music and wanted to be respected, successful, and profitable in the industry. What many don’t know is that IAMLATAUSHA never set out to be the best artist in the business and ironically was sought out by other more talented artists seeking her assistance with their music business. One thing that separated IAMLATAUSHA from the “average” artist was not her talent but her business-savvy, confident swag, the gift of gab, and boss lady persona. Identified as the “full-package”, IAMLATAUSHA continued to elevate herself by learning the business of music, networking, and grinding nonstop against all odds.

karen jodes capananPublished 3 years ago in BeatNightwish Albums Ranked
Nightwish albums are difficult to rank. They’re one of my favourite bands in the world of rock and metal. No matter where and how I rank my album taste it will cause a fight over the best singer. If I say Tarja is the best, they say it's just nostalgia. If I say Annette is the best, I get branded a fake metal fan. If I say Floor, they’ll say I’m a traitor for not supporting the original line-up. Most of the rivalry is created by fans.

Jason JamesPublished 3 years ago in Beat7 Nigerian Songs That Are Actually Really Scary
You'll never hear these songs the same way. The beauty of music and storytelling through song is that a lot of times, artistes can write songs about topics that are otherwise heavy and melancholic, but put over a nice beat and good melody, it can become something palatable to the average consumer.
Jide OkonjoPublished 3 years ago in BeatIn A World Gone Mad, Music Is My Savior
With so much static in our ears, it's hard to find some peace. 2020 has definitely been one for the record books. Through it all; the virus, the lockdowns, the racial disparities, the riots, the fires, and then Nov. Music has given me peace...

Christopher DonovanPublished 3 years ago in BeatTaylor Swift does it again and I ain’t even mad
Let’s set the scene shall we; it’s about 11:30pm on a Thursday night. I’ve just come home from seeing a theatre performance and am mid-way through writing my review of it when my partner calls me. Now, I knew that my partner had a 6am shift the next day so I knew that he’d only call me if he had something extraordinary to tell me or if something had happened to him. Thankfully, it wasn’t the latter. He was calling me to tell me to check my socials as Taylor Swift had just announced a surprise 9th studio album Evermore, a skated album to Folklore, which is one of my favourite albums ever recorded. So naturally, I went into a state of shock and only had total of about three hours of sleep before I had to go and teach children the next morning.
