Awaited Magic Part 1(Reimagined):
Ch. 1 Moving In We moved to an old manor out in the middle of nowhere. Mom and Dad were the type of people who buy fixer upper houses, flipped them, and sold them back to the world. Was I excited about moving away from my friends and starting a new life in a house that could be haunted? Well, while it might be cool to live in a one-horse town where everyone knows each other, the abandoned manor at the top of a mountain wasn’t as appealing. We drove through the town on the way to the road where the asphalt met the gravel as the path took us higher into the mountains. As we drew closer to the house, the road became covered in fog which made the driving for dad more difficult.

#1 Writing Prompt Challenge
* In honor of St. Patrick's Day 2021, here is a fun little story! Wow, how did I get here? I’ve never seen a grassy hill this green and lush before. The hills race so far into the distance that I can’t see anything beyond them; I don’t know where they end. Turning around, I survey my surroundings. behind me is a clump of bushes sprouting little yellow flowers. They look like the yellow flowers from Animal Crossing; I think they’re called Camellia flowers.

Birthday Misadventures
Mom’s baking tastes like eating a cloud drizzled in smooth maple syrup. It is so relaxing to just sit and watch the syrup slowly cascade down towards the plate. I move to grab my fork and take a bite, but I don’t taste anything. Hey! Why can’t I taste anything? I continue to try and eat what is supposed to be the most spectacular birthday meal, but I can’t any of the foods that I’m putting in my mouth. What the heck? This can’t be happening! I want my breakfast meal to be perfect; it can’t taste perfect if I can’t taste the flavor! I awake from the nightmare of losing the thing I want most on my birthday. I sit up in bed and try to relax knowing that the breakfast downstairs is not ruined.

"In A Pandemic"
A Villanelle Poem: * This poem was written during the middle of the Pandemic and my last year of college. The poem represents how I felt while in the last weeks of trying to complete assignments and the feeling of being done when the semester was over. It was crazy for a while, and then everything calmed down after I graduated. Isn't college life great?

Identifying with Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse (Spoilers Ahead!)
Welcome to the Spider-verse where there is not only one Spider-Man, but many with different features and rhetorical uses. A movie like this should be analyzed because it is more than a normal carbon copy of a comic book movie. The story is of a young man named Miles Morales who is growing up in New York trying to survive his new school. He gets bit by a spider that has been affected by a giant machine created by a man, Kingpin, who wants to pull his wife and son out of death. The turning on of this machine brought multiple versions of Spider-Man and several spider-girls to Mile’s dimension. The movie is a collaboration of these spider enhanced people to return to their own times and save the current one. The creators of this movie made it their goal to establish a movie that went beyond the physical connotation of a comic book. They wanted the audience to watch this film and be immersed in the action as if they were entering into a comic book.
