My Silly Muscle Car Dreams: part IV
So far I've written two articles about Muscle Cars from 1970, my birth year, that I'd love to own as well as one about cars from the 70s you might not think of as Muscle Cars, but can still be customized to look and perform very well. I also wrote about some awesome Restomods and some classic sports cars I would absolutely love to own. And finally, I wrote an article about the two relatively fast cars I've owned and some of the truly fast cars I have driven.

My Silly Classic Sports Car Dreams
You might notice that I include a lot of Youtube videos from Jay Leno's Garage in this article. There are a couple of reasons for that. First, so often when it comes to cars Jay not only owns one or more of them, but he is also extremely knowlegeble about them. The second reason is because my other sort of paying hobby besides writing is doing stand up comedy and of course Jay Leno is an absolute GOAT when it comes to stand up comedy.

My Silly Muscle Car Dreams III
Less Popular Muscle Cars Many people might bulk at the idea of the cars I’ve listed below as being Muscle Cars. In this case, I’m calling any car that was built between 1964 and 1979 which has a V8 or even a pumped-up smaller engine that looks cool a Muscle Car. I’ve known several people who took less than popular/less than traditional cars and turned them into head-turning cars that had all the power and performance that the factory-built Muscle Cars did.

Fast (to me) Cars That I have Owned or Driven
Between the ages of 16 and 32, I actually owned a lot of cars. Nine all total. I had a bad tendency to trade cars in for new ones every few years rather than simply paying off the car loan and owning the car outright. Two of the cars I owned were relatively fast. Not anywhere near Bugatti Chiron fast, but fast enough to put a smile on your face and occasionally make you nearly crap your pants when it was raining the Northern California roads were slick.

Living My Muscle Car Dreams (sort of)
I have a stupid dream that most likely will never be achieved. And probably shouldn’t be achieved since it would be a pretty bad example of hoarding and owning cars that aren’t what the planet needs right now. But, I’d be lying if I said I’m ready to stop at least dreaming about this one.

My Silly Muscle Car Dreams Part II
In 1964 Pontiac built the GTO. This is considered by many to be the very first Muscle Car. Ford also came out with the Mustang in 1964, though I don’t think it began being sold until late 1964 or 1965. They are often referred to as 1964 1/2 Mustangs. From 1964 on almost all of the major car companies in America were competing to build popular Muscle Cars. In 1970 almost all the American car companies produced at least one Muscle Car with a big block V8.

Vanlife: My Dream Van that Doesn't Exist (yet)
If it were possible, my dream Vanlife Van would be livable of course with a bed, mini-kitchen, toilet, solar shower, mini-fridge, WiFi and at least some storage space. It would also be electric with a solar panel array that helped charge the battery and gave it some extra range. If possible, a level four self-driving system would be great, though a level three system would be pretty cool as well. And finally. airless punctureless tires would top it off. I know, a big dream, but much of the tech I mentioned is here now. It just hasn’t been implemented all in one vehicle yet.

The Divine Director Loses It
He looked again at the text message glaring across the screen and he felt the rage and wrath rising in him. “Yahweh!” the text message screamed. “ I give you a singularity with enough power to create an immense amount of time and space and a 13.5 billion year deadline and this is all you got? Call me back pronto. The producers are screaming for a meeting.”

My 3.5 Writing Highs
I once read that happiness basically comes down to about 5 or 6 chemicals in your brain. I’ve realized over the years that there are about 3.5 things involved in the writing/publishing process for me that really get these feel-good brain juices jumping.
