My Opinion on Harper Lee's Novel
With breakfast done, I went back to my room to get ready. Putting on the dress and tying my hair in a ponytail I was just about to grab my bag and go when my eyes fell on the little alarm clock on my bedside table. Seeing that I have ample time left to before my first lecture, I grabbed a thin novel to pass time.

The Little Shack. Top Story - December 2023.
It was a tiring day on campus. I couldn't even get a second to catch my breath. The autumn season was here, and it was getting chilly. The Pediatric Ward of our hospital was beginning to seem understaffed due to the increase in patients. The kids were coming in with common cold, cough, and pyrexia. Parents were distressed, and if one sibling got sick, the others followed. It was a hard time managing the patients and counseling the upset parents. I didn't even get a fifteen-minute break. My fellow classmates and I were running haywire to get everything done on time.

Sunrise & Sensations
Starting the day with a light jog plays a huge role in awakening your soul and charging your energy level. So, here I was in a pink tracksuit with my hair pinned back from my face, tiptoeing into the room beside the kitchen. I switched on the light but turned it dim. Pushing back the curtains, I saw it was still dark outside - the sun had yet to rise.

Deciding What to Do?
Lying on the couch trying to unwind from a stressful day at the campus. I thought what to do next, the little morning adventure came to the forefront of my mind. This morning on the way to the campus I took a detour to the dainty bookshop at the corner of the street, looking around I was lost because I didn't have a specific book in my mind, I think Mrs. Bing must have read my expression and recommended me a book assuring me I would like it. Asking her about it she told me the genre was fantasy and the rest is a surprise, giving her a smile I paid for it and told her I will be back with my own opinion about the book. Laughing she told me she would be glad to here that. I think now would be the time to read it and see what I think, grabbing my bag and pulling out the book I made myself comfortable and started reading. The book title is 'Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin'.

The Backyard Meditation
The seeping rays of sunlight bathed my room in a golden hue. My eyes twitched as the sun-rays fell on my eyelids, coaxing me from my deep slumber. Rubbing my eyes, I opened them to see the beauty of nature that had just illuminated my room. Pushing back the comforter and stretching my arms, I slipped my feet into the warm, cozy slippers and padded across the floor to the closet to get ready.

Siblings Shenanigans & Babysitting Dilemma
The grandfather clock on the wall was showing 2:00 pm. The quiet and stillness in the air that used to make the sound of 'dong' echo in the room was absent. Today, the atmosphere in the house was lively and there was mischievous anticipation hanging in the air.

Unexpected Shifts & Unwavering Care
Today began as any other day waking up early, having a hearty meal, an hour of meditation and morning walk to the campus. Reaching the building I pushed opened the double glass door of the main building, the chilly morning swept in with a 'whoosh'. Reaching the stairs I quickly headed to the first floor, reaching the allotted room I slid open the door. The lecture hall was empty, looking at the time and the schedule I was pretty sure I was at the right place at the right time but the absence of the lingering students told me that something was amiss.

Pillow-Comforts & Dinner Suprises
Just relaxing amid the fluffy pillows with a book in hand, the cool, crisp air was flowing in through the open window, causing me to feel a chill. Putting the book down, I got up, padding on the marble floor with naked feet resulting in a chill travelling across my spine. Closing the windows, I pushed forward the curtains. Skipping back to the comfort of the pillows, I popped in and returned to my reading. Tossing and turning, I was able to complete my topic for study, which was definitely not pleasant anymore. I lost my comfortable position in the pillows when I got up to close the windows, and now no matter how much I turn and toss, I wasn't able to get it back, but thankfully I was done studying for today.

Victory In Crosswords & A Caffeine Induced Boost
I was standing on my front porch, waiting in anticipation and looking at the time on my wristwatch. The long minute needle was coming closer and closer to its destination with every tick and tock. On the white display, the golden hands told me it was 6:25 am. Five minutes more and it would be here. I couldn't stand still and was hoping from one foot to another. The time was really moving slowly, and the chirping of the birds nearby made it seem as if they were teasing me. Pacing in front of my porch, I was pretty sure I made a funny picture for nature's amusement. Finally, from the corner of my eye, I saw someone enter my field of vision. Looking at the time, it was exactly 6:30 am.

A Story Behind A Snack
So here I was sitting on a couch trying to unwind, while mom was buzzing around me like bee. The slow energy vibes of the room were being destroyed by the buzzing mother bee. Having had enough I stood up from the couch walked over to my mom, grabbed her arm and dragged her over to the couch.

A Morning Stroll
Waking up to the warm sunrays streaming through my window and the melodious chirping of the birds outside my window is like a morning alarm from nature arousing you from your slumber in a gentle and peaceful way, lifting my spirits and filling me with a sense of peace. The atmosphere of tranquility in the glowing room gave me a feeling of hope for the day ahead and begin the day with a positive mindset. In this serene environment I got up the sun rays embracing me in a warm hug, padding to the window I opened it and looked outside. A breeze of cold hair hit my face giving me another dose of nature, an earthly scent of the soil and vibrant colors of the flowers in the garden greeted me, reminding me of the beauty and harmony that exists in nature. It's moments like these that reaffirm my belief in the power of nature to soothe and rejuvenate the soul.
