Jellico Tennessee - Haunting on Cumberland Ave.
We are receiving so many requests from people wanting to see more spooky ghost stories. Just like many of you, we too love a good ghost story especially when it could be right down the street. Our goal is to provide you with some good, local entertainment while keeping it as real as possible. With this said we are extending an invitation to all of our Jellico area readers. If you have a good ghost story to share, please let us know. We'd love to hear it and possibly share it with the world. Now that we are publishing through the Vocal platform all of our stories and articles are easily assessable to readers all over the world. That's pretty exciting isn't it!

Jellico Tennessee- Urban Legends
Every town has it's stories, some handed down through many generations. Some of them are spooky and some of them are genuinely interesting. Jellico is not exempt from these urban legends and stories. Over the years I have heard many, many stories told from people who live in Jellico and I decided to write this article to explore some of them.

Jellico Tennessee- Helping Hands
If you're reading this article, no matter where you live, I believe that you can relate to the situations that I am about to point out here. If you live in Jellico Tennessee you are probably seeing these situations on a daily basis. This is not to reflect a negative light on our town. These situations are happening everywhere, yet are much more obvious in small towns.

Jellico Tennessee- The Friend That Only I Could See
I have seen many stories about the ghosts of Jellico Tennessee. I don't know about all of that, I'm sure some of those stories have truth in them. As many old towns, Jellico is filled with history and stories that we will never truly understand. One story that I know to be genuine is my very own. My Sunday friend that only I could see. Years later I would marry and have a daughter who had an astonishing resemblance to my mysterious friend.

Jellico Tennessee- Snow Days
No matter how old or young you may be, there is just something magical about a fresh snow. Here in Jellico we have already received more snow this year than in the past several years combined. For the Spring gardeners out there, this is good news. Snow puts oxygen deep into the ground. Gardens will thrive even better after a snowy winter.

Jellico Tennessee - Memories and Faith
As I sat in the downtown area of Jellico, the streets stood silent and still. It was so quiet, the only sound to be heard was the passing geese overhead. If you listen closely you can hear them every morning on their daily routine over the town. This sound brings me comfort. It reminds me that I am home. I just sat there, in my car with the window slightly cracked. The cool morning breeze, the silence and my friends flying overhead brought an unexplainable peace. A feeling that you just can't find in a big city.
