Undiagnosed Autism In Schools
Empathy and Understanding are crucial to Acceptance, and that's especially important now. In 2018, a friend tagged me in a shared Facebook post. I've spoken, loudly and frequently and publicly, about the lack of support for people who "don't look autistic" and the importance of letting us find our own voices and speak for ourselves, rather than having non-autstic people control the narrative and speak for us. As a result, I often get tagged in posts to do with Autism and support for autistic people, and especially in posts by autistic people sharing their experiences.

The Meaning of Freedom
"Freedom" is a simple word with a lot of different potential meanings. There is the freedom to be who and what you are, without fear or favour. The freedom to love who you want without persecution or repercussion. The freedom to speak your personal and political opinions without being censored by the government.

Bridgerton Season 2
Season 2 of Austen-inspired Gaslamp frock-flick Bridgerton has just released, and fans are in meltdown mode. While they're getting over the shock, I thought that it was a good chance for me to get my thoughts down, about the show overall and as an adaptation of a book series.

I Did Everything Right...
On Wednesday, March 16th, at 6:43PM, I tested positive for COVID-19. I'd figured it out about 18 hours earlier, what with the muscle pain, fever, congestion and headache, but I'd still been desperately hoping that it was just the side effect of a month of solid rain and wet weather.
