Girl-in-White
Once, far away and long ago, there was a little family, who lived just beyond the dark pine forest, and it included only a mother, dressed all in red, and a pretty little daughter of no-more than twelve, dressed all in white. They lived in a little cottage, with only room enough for two. The mother-in-red wanted no more children, but she had grown an apple tree in the garden in the front of the house, which held apples only she would pick.

The Silver City // The Universe Ends // The Lake
The Silver City There are very little for me to think about in the age of silver. It brings me little joy to see the city alight with the metal, shining from all of the buildings and windows. I can only just remember an age when the streets I walked was not lined with the hues of our state’s colors. Before, I must have been five, when I remember the vague ideas of home and comfort. There was a glow to streetlights along the stone street.

To My Father Who Isn't Dead
To my father who isn’t dead, Because I feel like you are. I have completely lost you. We have nothing in common any longer. I am faced each day with your touch on my shoulder. And I want to shy away. I want to yell at you to not touch me. That you aren’t my father any more.

The Relationship You Agreed To
Sometimes I find this place gets used as a diary more than an actual place for my short stories. A place to share a bit of myself, because maybe it will help teach people out there to be better. To do better. Because things are going to be hard when you’re in relationships.
