I've finally found the perfect way to heal my aching soul. I'm writing this poem to say goodbye to feeling un-whole.

I used to want a daydream, But daydreams can’t come true, So I knew falling in love Was something I’d never do. I used to want a daydream,
I feel so beaten down. I’m running out of air. I’m trying not to drown, But it’s more than I can bear. I’m running out of air.
I visited the ruins today, To reminisce about the past. There I sat and thought, Remembering an age long gone And felt tremendous sorrow
They say we can’t appreciate What we have until it’s gone. We learn, we love, we act too late And see where we went wrong.
