Happy 100 Posts (Stories, Poems, lives lived?). Top Story - October 2023.
Hello All, To celebrate my 100th story on Vocal I have decided I would do something a little different than my usual fiction. So what could be more different than my normal stuff than to write a purely non-fiction piece?

Reaping What Love Sowed (Part 4)
In case you missed Part One , Part Two and Part Three. For part four continue on: Over the years I kept tabs on my girl. I watched as she fell in love and had a family. Then her family had families of their own and so on until it was the size I saw before me today. I felt like a proud father, seeing how much she had grown and the life she was able to build because I saved her. Which only saddened me more, knowing that it was about to come to an end.

He rubbed the sleep from his eyes as he waddled towards his door, slowly regaining his senses. With a hand on the knob, he paused for a moment, βWho is it?β He called in a sleepy voice.

Micro World (Part 2). Content Warning.
Part One: The Prologue Helmar was just a regular student at Lethbridge College. Unsure of what he wanted the future to hold, he was taking a variety of classes. He did typical first-year things like go out for drinks with friends after class and try to keep up with the workload as best he could.

Micro World (Part 1). Top Story - October 2023. Content Warning.
The year was 2073 and the world was evermore evolving. Disease was a thing of the past. Not that people didnβt still get sick but more that things like cancers, and major diseases such as heart and kidney disease had been done away with. Through the use of genetic engineering and microchip implants.
