Patty Jenkins And Rian Johnson’s 'Star Wars' Projects On Hold Indefinitely
Following the news that the Patty Jenkins’ Star Wars project has been delayed, comes news that the reason for the delay is creative differences between the director and executives at Lucasfilm. More specifically, Jenkins and Lucasfilm Vice President Michelle Rejwan could not agree on the script. This adds to a long list of Lucasfilm projects that failed to see the light of day.

What You Don't Know About The Great Ochi of Bestoon
Ochi of Bestoon. Loyal Assassin. Servant of the Emperor . This one singular character who appeared in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the alien responsible for the death of Rey’s mom and dad, has by some miracle managed to become an expansive character within the wider Star Wars Expanded Universe. A far cry from how he started as a mere blip on the radar in Episode 9, when the only times we see him is in a flashback and his skull. Though who is Ochi of Bestoon, why did he get the task of killing Rey’s parents? Why did he serve the Emperor, and where did he come from? Well, this is what people don’t know about Ochi of Bestoon.

Is Darth Sidious Actually The Strongest Sith Of All Time? He Certainly Thinks So…
“Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design. “ “Of all the monsters I have created, I still regard Darth Vader as something of a minor masterpiece. No, he was not an entirely alchemical creation, but he was my monster nevertheless. Even though he failed to live up to his full potential, there was much pleasure in transforming Anakin Skywalker from a bright-eyed, tousle-headed youth into the greatest Jedi killer of all time. Yes, he ultimately turned against his Master, as monsters sometimes do, but that was my fault, not his. Given the opportunity to create Vader again, I would, and with zeal.” “Even death kneels before me!” “Now, you will experience my full potency. I live as energy. I am the dark side! “

Top 5 Genres ‘Star Wars’ Could Do Next
Mike Flanagan recently stated that he would love to make a horror movie set in the Star Wars universe. That would be awesome, but you know what? It should not stop there. I would love to see a Mike Flanagan Star Wars horror film. He is a genius of his craft, and any horror film he did in the Star Wars universe would at least be interesting. However, Star Wars is quite literally a universe of possibility when it comes to genres. It could be a home for almost any genre, and there is no reason why there cannot be a new Star Wars movie every year that explores new topics, characters, stories, and, of course, genres. If we are going to get new Star Wars content every year until we die anyway, they might as well be different. These are just a few of the genres that Star Wars could house.

Opinion: Why The Foundations Of The 'Star Wars' Sequels Were Never Going To Be The Basis For A Strong Story
When Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out, many people loved it. They felt it was a return to Star Wars. They lauded the characters, the action, and the promise the story offered. However, much of this praise was unthinking and arguably came from The Force Awakens being familiar – a sense of security for those the prequels had disenfranchised.

Even 'Kenobi' Actor Anticipated A Trailer For Disney+ Day
An unexpected surprise but not a very welcome one, the highly anticipated "Disney+ Day" did not have much in terms of new updates for Kenobi or any of its upcoming slate of Star Wars series or movies. While there was plenty of Marvel news and announcements to go around, highly anticipated shows set in a galaxy far, far, away (such as Andor, Bad Batch Season 2, and Kenobi) were not so fortunate. Personally, I can't help but be reminded of the debacle that was the release of the second trailer for the similarly anticipated Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Theory: Disney's 'Lightyear' Takes Place In 'Star Wars' Universe
Pixar is no stranger to theories. Almost every movie they have made has some kind of theory surrounding it. Some are simple and clever like Andy’s mom being Jessie’s original owner in Toy Story 2, and some are downright terrifying like any attempt to explain what is going on in the world of Cars.

‘Eternals’ Director Will Not Be Helming Kevin Feige's ‘Star Wars’ Movie After All
Despite rumors swirling earlier in the month leading into the release of Marvel's Eternals, Academy award winning director Chloe Zhao was tapped to direct an untitled and unknown Star Wars project for Kevin Feige. Zhao herself stated she would like the chance to work within the franchise, going so far as to say she has reverence for the franchise. However, critical and fan displeasure for the recent Marvel movie may have shelved those plans for now.

Could 'Kenobi' Concept Art Hint At Video Game Character Movie Debut?
Star Wars fans have a lot to speculate about following the release of the concept art for the up and coming Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Some of the artwork has shown a character who looks eerily similar to a major villain from the video game Jedi: Fallen Order. Known to gamers as the Second Sister, the internet is abuzz about whether or not she could be making the transition from the world of gaming to the world of television. This would be the first instance where an original character in a game makes a transition to a role in a film or television series.
