St Fandom Academy Part 7
"Okay, Class D." Mr Garrison's had papers tucked under his arm and Mr Hat with his free hand. His facial impressions changed as he spoke. He put Mr Hat by the desk so he could carry the papers in both hands. "Last week I asked you all to write a short story containing bananas . Some of them I was very impressed with, and some of them didn't make for a happier reading."

Summerboy
July 31st - Challenge #1 Sweet Summer Songs: Pick a song that reps summer for ya. Use the song as the title to inspire a poem or micro fic about summer I’ve picked Summerboy by Lady Gaga. Not her best song, but this song along with the whole The Fame album captures summer for me.

Making Tom Bradbury’s Dandelion Lemonade
You want to save the world and the oceans start in your back garden. - Tom Bradbury Tom Bradbury was a beloved member of the Vocal Community. Before we had comments here, we relied on Facebook groups to interact with each other. His posts gave me faith in social media Vocal at times I lost faith in both. I’ve been wanting to make this for a long time. I like Dandelion and Burdock, and the actual dandelion flowers are ones I have always thought were pretty. After watching the memorial service online, now seems to be a better than then never. Even though I never met him, I feel like I knew him through his stories on Vocal. The fact his Vocal page is mentioned at his service just shows much much this website meant to him. I think if he was alive, he would have loved a lot of the new features here.

Vegan Campout 2023
You may have noticed I haven’t been online much these past few days. That’s because I went to a festival in Biecester. Vegan Campout 2023 was one of the most eventful festivals I have ever been to. Many highs and many lows but it’s a learning experiance that I thoughtfully enjoyed. Dappa, my favourite ice cream van was there and I had two lovely ice creams from them. I got to try churros, coconut pancakes, wagon wheels and a red velvet sandwhich cookie. None of it beats Dappa ice cream. What’s also good? Watermelon slices and fresh coconut water and fresh.

All the books I read in July 2023
I had a pride themed video call where we showed off all our favourite LGBTQ+ books, and even included tarot inspired writing. Thank you for my friend Cesca from the Lit group for recommending this book. I thought this was fantastic. This is loosely based of an old French legend set in Cornwall wa out a non-binary knight called Silence. Silence is biologically female but nature but is nutured to be a man. The conflict between nature and nurture is interesting. I also find the name Silence to be poignant as Silence is constantly struggling to conceal their true self.

My Bibliography
Life With Poetry Series Drinking Poetry - My first published book. I wrote the first edition of the book in 2017. It’s a collection of poems celebrating the diversity and styles of tea, coffee and alcohol. I went to a writing course and it inspired me to write lots of poems and it helped me create lots of books. A lot of my books are short, but I am still proud of them. A friend of mine suggested I do a Drinking Poetry Part II with an alcoholic focus.

The Lynx and The Puma
There was a big race between the cats to see which one will rule the jungle. What happens next is amazing. Everybody knows that the lion went on to win. It is well documented that the other cats put in a good fight. Though little is known about the Puma and the Lynx. The final four were the Tiger, the Lion, the Puma and the Lynx. After the race, the Tiger went on to live his normal life up north. The Lion made his palace up in the mountains.

St Fandom Academy Part 6
"Okay," Mr Garrison said as he put Mr Hat away in his draw. "The deadline for the school's anthology is next Friday." The bell rang, and everyone emerged from their seats for lunch. "Eric, stay behind please!" Mr Garrison demanded, pointing to a chair in the front row as the rest of the class leaves. Eric rolled his eyes as the rest of his class left. Grinning, Eric knew he was going to get another detention. Eric Cartman was the king of detentions and he couldn't let anyone, especially Vicky Pollard take his crown away.

After The Death Quiz
It was a good idea many drunken nights ago. Being on quiz show with her friends to help make their bond eternal. Even if Lavender did die, her brand would live on. The contract was clear: only 300 applicants are accepted. Only four can survive. Lavender had three best friends: Agnes, Bethany and Rita.

St Fandom Academy Part V
All the students had sat down in cold boring grey chairs. It was a far cry from the pride themed hallway. The assembly room was the only hall throughout the school, that had no maintenance. It showed through the cobwebs in the corners and the cracked paint. Students stood once Principle Tsunade arrived on the stage. Principle Tsunade ordered them all to sit once she got on the podium. "Before we begin our assembly, I would like to introduce you all to our new history teacher, Mr Edmund Blackadder. He will be joined by his assistant, Mr Baldrick. Please be kind to them and make them feel a part of our wonderful and inclusive family."
