My Most Memorable Movies of 2021
2021 was the year blockbuster movies came back to the mainstream. They held out on a whole slew of big releases in 2020. I can comfortably say that the world was in a happier place with the amount of quality entertainment that came out this year.

My Review of "Ron's Gone Wrong"
Ron's Gone Wrong is a curious title that came out recently in 2021. It didn't take them that long for Disney to make it available on their streaming platform. There was barely any promotion for this movie and it wasn't in the theaters for that long either. I guess the pandemic is still hitting us hard and they thought it was best to make it available on Disney Plus.

My Review of "Pacific Rim"
Pacific Rim is a giant monster movie that came out back in 2013. Time really flies when you don't realize it. I remember seeing this movie back when it first came out and being floored by how much fun it was. I think this movie is the catalyst that pushed the resurgence of the giant monster movies.

My Review of "Don't Look Up"
Don't Look up is Netflix's newest 2021 blockbuster movie. It's hotly anticipated because of the amount of celebrities in this movie. However you'll notice all of the celebrities that have climbed on this project are all social activists. I had a sense of what I was getting myself into when I pressed play for this one.

My Review of "Encanto"
Encanto should have had a huge opening this year in 2021. The pandemic and the advent of Disney Plus probably put a big snag on those plans though. Still I don't think anyone could ever really hate this movie. It's got so much love and color to it that you can't help but fall in love with it.

My Review of "The Transformers: The Movie (1986)"
The Transformers: The movie (1986) is a transformative movie that has affected many young boys of the era. I happen to be one of them. It really was a game changer because back in the day TV shows didn't really get their own movies very often.

My Review of "Saved by the Bell (2021): Season 2"
Saved by the Bell (2021): Season 2 has finally come out. There's a nice blend of nostalgia, craziness and new spin to keep this on my watch list. The first season was a hoot to watch. They married just enough nostalgia to keep older fans watching while staying fresh with current times. The new roster is filled with an amazingly charismatic roster.

My Review of "The Matrix Resurrections"
The Matrix Resurrections is the latest movie in all the call back movies we've had as of late. We just had the newest Ghostbusters revival with Ghostbusters: Afterlife and I would consider the newest Spider-Man: No Way Home as another revival. They're bringing all of these older intellectual properties back into the forefront.

My Review of "Hawkeye: Season 1"
Hawkeye: Season 1 was a bit of a surprise to me when they first announced this TV show. It seems as though all of the Avengers have some sort of spotlight feature film or TV show. Naturally Hawkeye had to have his own show as well. The thing about Hawkeye was that he had a really small role in the Avengers. I became curious as to what they're going to do with this character.

My Review of "Spider-Man: No Way Home"
Spider-Man: No Way Home has finally been released. It's been a hotly anticipated movie for quite some time. I remember back when the pandemic first started we had rumblings and rumors about what this sequel would entail. Fortunately or unfortunately (depending on who you ask) most of those rumors have come to fruition.

My Review of "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom"
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is an adventure movie that came out back in 1984. It was a time when there were quite a lot of adventure movies that spawned from the Raiders of the Lost Ark movie of 1981. Who could blame them, they're fun films filled with wonder and excitement.
