Monday! For most working people, their day begins early, getting ready and rushing out the door for their workplace. While everyone rushed to work, I slept. Retirement has its privileges. My Monday morning began around 8:45 A.M.
GIVING UP SUGAR
Giving that Cheshire cat grin, it's the grin she likes to give to her mom's comments or her mom's questions. "Good luck with that!" exclaimed my daughter in response to my parting comment, "I believe I have to give up sugar." The weather couldn't have been better. It was one of those beautiful, perfect Spring days. In fact, it was the 15th of May 2018. She was on a mission with her large blue purse slung over her shoulder, key chain in hand, leaving with my granddaughters. Errands were on the agenda.

Timing is everything, First Cow was released just as the Covid-19 pandemic hit. You didn’t see the movie in a theater. Besides, the movie theaters were closed. In fact, you may have seen the First Cow advertised on one of the many streaming platforms. While distancing and isolating ourselves from the world, it was on a streaming platform where we watched this movie.

“Good news, Ella!” exclaimed Jake as he watched Ella enter the pre-production department of the California Studio. “Well, are you going to tell me, or do I have to pry it out of you?” teased Ella.
