50/50
Do you believe that marriage is a 50/50 proposition? Pick up any women's magazine such as Family Circle, Women's Day, or McCall's and you will read articles that perpetuate the popular myth that husbands are helpful, supportive and share 50/50 in the housework and family chores. No matter whether a wife stays at home or works outside the home, husbands should help their wives; but they don't.

College
College Is A Waste of Time And Money If I believed that college was a waste of time and money, I wouldn't be enrolled in college now, and I wouldn't be taking English I Composition. I do not agree with Caroline Bird's essay statement that it's a dumb investment, that you rarely use what you learn, and a degree no longer opens vocational doors.

Marigold's Story: Dreams Can Come True
August 10, 2000 In the sunlight, Marigold's hair shined and glowed. Indeed, the color of her hair was identical to the golden yellow flower that she was named after. Of course, her mom and her Gram would each take credit for naming her. Besides disagreeing on who made the best decadent chocolate cake, there was always a heated argument as to who had chosen her name FIRST as if it were some kind of contest. In fact, each had its own unique story.

A Dream, A Trip, And An Unexpected Brown Paper Box
There must be a reason. There has to be a reason. Bella thought about the recurring dream that she had awakened from. In the dream, Bella was five years old. Gramps was showing her the family bible. With a twinkle in his eyes, Gramps carefully and reverently showed Bella the large antique family bible. He instructed, "Handle this GOOD book with care Bella. It's not like your other books, and it's to be respected and not to be played with. You understand!" Bella sighed, "Yes, Gramps!"

A Vocal Media Creator's Confessions
Writing on a platform with exceptional writers is in many ways intimidating and frustrating, the professional writers, bloggers, and book authors are wordsmiths with immeasurable skills compared to my humble neophyte skills. Of course, that's my internal feelings speaking out.

THE WINDS OF CHANGE
Sweets had always been Amy's weakness. Perhaps, in part, it explained why she opened a sweet shop at the corner of Maple and Vine Street in her hometown. Happily, Amy would make her addictive and delicious, chocolate candies, chocolate cookies, chocolate cupcakes, chocolate cakes, and her famous German chocolate cake.
