Reminder!

Reflections after

the Parade.

Stonewall riot

Liberation Day March

Marches begot Parades.

Revolutionary and chaotic,

LGBT protestors

for their rights,

didn't give up the fight.

People with disabilities,

people of color,

found their place

in the parade.

Pride

"pay them no mind."

The events and parades went

from national

to international.

Demanding people's legal rights.

Growing bigger each and every year.

Protest march began

with chanting slogans

Halloween costumes

or best drag.

Starting the parade from

a cabaret bar, protestors

marched and sang.

Reminder!

Reflections on accomplishments.

A proclamation of the month of June,

campaigns for same-sex marriages

and won with

the unstoppable spirit.

Celebrations

can be an act of

Resistance.

The parade is over

for another year.

Ethnocentric

Discrimination

Racism

Sexism

Ageism

is absolutely uncalled for

and unlawful.

Reminder!

Reflecting after the fifty-second parade,

it's our human right

for diversity and inclusion.

Sitting on the sidelines

or participating in the parade,

human rights are at stake.

You can't take it for granted.

That would be a mistake.

Reminder!

Reflections after the parade.

The kaleidoscope of colors,

the cacophony of music

the signs, slogans, songs

looking back at the parade,

while our human rights

are still a concern.
