Design on a Dollar: Mermaid Themed Name Sign
We have a seven year old, who like most girls her age is obsessed with all things mermaid. Her room needs a re-haul. I think the last time it was painted was when she was born. So yeah, time for a change.

From my Kitchen to Yours: Taco Bake
One of the recipes that is requested often around here is "taco bake". I have seen variations of this on the internet, but the version that I make for our family is based of my other half's grandma's recipe. There is a version that floats around Facebook every so often that is made with tomatoes and lettuce and some other vegetables I am sure, crafted into a circle or ring shape. That is far too fancy for this mama, and her crew.

Trying my Hand at Viral Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls
A few weeks ago a meme or photo or whatever you want to call it started circulating around social media. This is nothing new, there is some new viral something that makes it way into our social media bubbles just about every day, but this one was different. This one involved food, was fairly simple and was something that I knew both myself and my other half would enjoy.
