Review of “Straight Edge Kegger”, Coming Soon to Shudder
The punk rock indie film titled “Straight Edge Kegger”, written and directed by Jason Zink (“Night Terrors” 2014), is slated to drop on Shudder at an unreleased date in 2021, and watchers are in for what other critics are calling “a wild ride”. Rightfully so, the film digs its claws into the straight edge subculture for a raw look at the interpersonal strains of Brad, portrayed by Cory Kays, and the deadly outcome of his choice to leave his militant gang of straight edgers. The 2019 completed thriller film yields comedy and as much heart and grit as it does gut-spilling gore. It’s the film for both dedicated horror audiences, thrill seekers, comedy buffs, and straight edge punks alike. While there’s times that stall, the film has a way of keeping you interested, with some corny humor you’ll laugh at more than you’ll have anticipated. It’s a product of indie filmmaking done right: a structured and believable plot that allows the watcher to watch and enjoy the movie, not notice every time the cinematographer forgot to come to work that day.

Review of “Box”, An Award-Winning Short Horror Film
The winner of some eight film festival awards, receiver of four nominations and accumulator of over 65 thousand views on YouTube and counting, “Box” starring Jimmy Dempster is one of the finer thriller short horror films released as of late. It’s experimental, artistic and psychologically thrilling nature denotes it’s Kings of Horror origin, a YouTube channel of some one million subscribers with an interest for independently produced horror. Likely more misunderstood than deserving of a negative rating, the Lee Thongkham written and directed short film “Box” is a magnificent attempt at visual storytelling. Thrillers unfold and impose a clouded understanding onto viewers and they may also incorporate forms of poetic symbolism; “Box” is no exception. With true potential to be written as a feature film someday, this short is worth the 29 minute and 34 second watch.

Halloween Films That’ll Petrify Your Psyche
Welcome, foolish mortals. Putting on a horror movie is a leisure activity that you may find me partaking in on any day of the year. This may be true for some of you, but there’s also an abundance who consider “Halloween movies” a Halloween thing, and only break out the hauntings, gore and jump scares when the season approaches. With so many popular work to choose from and a wide variety of sub-genres as well, you may want to branch out this year. It is my personal opinion that- when done properly- a psychological thriller can make for a fulfilled movie night.

Sci-Fi Films Featuring Aliens Worth Watching
During the season of scares, extraterrestrials come to mind while clicking about on our streaming services in search of something to watch. It’s nearing Halloween, and there’s a chance you’ve either neglected or exhausted your watchlists for the year. It’s my belief that many science fiction movies, specifically the ones with aliens, are a hoot on any given day, so if you’re looking for now or for later, I have constructed this list in hopes you’ll be intrigued enough to check them out.

In a world of technology, most individuals use it to better their lives and advance our existence; others choose to utilize it for a more sinister agenda. For Chris’ Sake: Finally, A Podcast Worth Listening To | InterviewTop Story - November 2021
Audible entertainment and communications has been around for decades, with radio broadcasts coining their debut in history in 1920 and podcasts airing as early as 2004. Over the years, leaps in technology have evolved these terms to be what we know them as today, and on-air personalities have continued to attract listeners to their stations and shows in a manner that’s suitable for nearly all audience ages, unless otherwise specified. The hosts of these said radio stations and podcasts have a duty to reel in all ears to the platforms they represent, be it today’s greatest hits, rock ‘n’ roll classics, educational discussions, or newly released film reviews; there’s a genre for just about anybody. With that being said, there’s the on-air personalities that target their audiences well and are good at what they do, and then there’s people like Chris Anthony Lopez, who excel that of what you’d expect from your traditional podcast host.

I Hit One Thousand Views on Vocal in One Month, Now What?Top Story - July 2020
But, why is that laptop sitting on a chair? Hello fellow Vocal creators and other beings on the internet. Before I begin, let me address that I in no way feel that I have some sort of advice giving superiority over veteran SEO-wizard bloggers, I don’t have a perfect Pinterest aesthetic to match my niche, nor have I clearly, hence the title, been doing this very long myself. I simply find it interesting when artists and entrepreneurs of all kinds share their strategies in correlation with strengthening their reach on social media and other varying platforms.

The Mysterious Sodder Children Disappearance
It was the winter night of Monday, December 24, 1945, in the rural town of Fayetteville, West Virginia. George and Jennie Sodder had just commenced minor Christmas Eve celebrations with their some nine children, an infant included, all of whom resided in the home together, with the exception of one absent son away serving in the military in World War II at the time. Five of these nine children asked their parents to stay up past their normal bedtime hour to play with their new Christmas toys, given to them by their older sister. Consenting to the idea, the Sodder parents went to bed, only to be woken at around 1 a.m. to their home ablaze.

Homeward: An Honest, Detailed Review
If you’re going to give an accurate review on a film like Homeward (2020), you have to watch it for what it is, not what you want it to be or were expecting. You’ve gotta go into the experience with an open mind; talent of all kinds put months and often years into the making of movies, and while art is subjective and up for interpretation, film making overall is no easy profession. Some motion pictures flop and others break box office records, but each movie has a collection of good and bad reviews circling the internet from every day fans to acclaimed critics. Whether you read them for enjoyment or for ideas of what to watch when there’s seriously nothing else to watch, here’s an honest review of Homeward.
