5 Delicious Late Night Snack Restaurants in Denver
Late night snacking has almost become an art form in Denver. Compared to certain other cities, restaurants in Denver close early, even on the weekend! (And yes, 11:00 PM is early on a Friday or Saturday night) So it can be hard to find a good place to grab some grub after having a few drinks with your friends. Because of this reason, I have compiled a list of five of my favorite late night spots in no particular order, and I'm including some menu recommendations for you to try while there.

Delicious Seasonal Dessert at D Bar
Last weekend, I had a guest visiting from Mississippi and I wanted to make sure she ate well while in Denver. Once I found out she has a sweet tooth, I knew I had to take her to D Bar in Uptown Denver near 19th and Pennsylvania, which is run by Food Network Celebrity Chef Keegan Gerhard. D Bar offers an intimate dining experience filled with delicious sweets, comfort foods, and savory plates that's perfect for any date night or friendly outing. They also offer a happy hour selection that I would recommend checking out if you're in the area Monday through Friday 3-6:00 PM. The typical mass clientele is aged mid 20s to late 30s but the menus appeal to just about everyone. I have seen small children there before, but due to the complexity of the menu I wouldn't recommend it unless your kids are like Neal Patrick Harris.

The Power of Knowing Your Worth
Ah, love. Love is a many splendid thing, isn’t that how the saying goes? Some of the most beautiful acts in the world are committed out of love. Some of the most incredible art has been created and inspired by love. Love moves mountains and crosses oceans. Love comes in all forms big and small. Love brings us together; it joins nations and individuals alike. But what about a love lost? A scorned lover? Betrayal? Lies and deceit? Manipulation for personal gain?

My First Dinah Shore Weekend
This year I attended my first Dinah Shore weekend. There were thousands of lesbians in attendance and several social gatherings provided ample opportunities to meet and mingle with new faces. But for someone with severe social anxiety, this also provided ample opportunities to feel stressed out and overwhelmed. Slowly but surely I made my way through the weekend, and multiple throngs of crowded venues, and managed to have a good time.
