From Return to Hogwarts to Return Of The Barn Owl
January 1st, 2022. A new dawn, a new day, a new year. Determined to make the most of it from the start, at 11 AM sharp I grab my boyfriend Andrew and our ginger cat, Ron Weasley, to take a walk in the park. Having not partaken in the alcoholic beverages from last night's celebrations I'm not hangover in the least, but 8 hours of playing host did take their toll on my stamina, so fresh air was an alluring prospect. Granted, the boys don't exactly share my enthusiasm. Ron, in particular, is almost jet-lagged from supervising us all night and foregoing his usual sleeping pattern. But they'll come around. Such a beautiful day can't be wasted.

All I Want For Christmas Is Peace
You can't turn on the radio in December or step into a mall without Mariah Carey belting her Christmas classic. Over the past decade, it has become a universally known Christmas anthem, but this year something about it rubbed me the wrong way. And yes, the holidays are behind us, but I need to say my truth and hopefully others would benefit from hearing it.

How To Pay It Forward With a Smile
There's an old song that always served as a pick-me-up whenever I felt the need for one. A classic, an evergreen, a positivity anthem. Originally released in 1928, it was later revived by Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, and more recently, by Michael Bubble. I guess the world needs a constant reminder that when you're smiling, the world smiles with you.

The Joy of Melding Your Work and Private Personas Into One Authentic Self
What do you feel you should be doing? That was the question asked of me during a recruitment process six years ago by the company’s young and attractive life coach. Dressed to the nine and exuding a cool hipster vibe complete with an old-school pocket watch, he looked at me with earnest eyes that saw too much. Prior to this discussion, I had never even heard of a life coach, never mind speak to one. But the owner of the advertising start-up that wanted to hire me certainly did and even built in such a talk in the hiring process.

How My Boss's Cat Is Way Higher On The Chain Than MeTop Story - September 2021
April 1st Here, I'd have my own office, be my own person, have a real name, and not just "you there". Here, making coffee and copies will be a distant memory. Here, there will be no more humiliation. No longer an intern but an account executive-oh, the promissed land.

How a series of experimental plays against domestic violence started a nationwide change
If you've been following my work (which I certainly hope so), you know that I've had my fair share of soul-searching in a very intense quest for finding purpose. Through a long and hard labor of creation, writing emerged as my life mission. Whether fiction (my first manuscript is almost finished, stay tuned), essays, inspirational/how-to articles, or even poems. Although I still work full-time in the exciting world of advertising, my goal is to become a full-fledged creator by this time next year.

How Vocal Media Saved My Life
How Vocal Media saved my life. Sounds a bit clickbaity, right? Well, just bear with me and you'll see for yourself that it's not just a catchy headline, or a far-fetched hyperbole (even though I'm partial to the latter) but the honest truth.
