The Waiting Grave
For months, I have been under the impression that the grave-digger is sitting around, waiting for my death. But no, perhaps these are all just my delusions. He buries a corpse every single day, so why would he be lying in ambush for me?Yesterday, as I passed by him, he cast a strange glance at me. He did not take the heavy weight of his eyes off me until I was far away; it was as if the color of his gaze was calling me to himself. For several nights now, I have been seeing him in my dreams, one night after another. Tonight, I made a pact with myself that if he appeared in my sleep again, I would scream and tell him, "Get the hell out!" But no... in the world of dreams, his image was distorted and blurred. It was as though he had gone deaf and refused to hear my voice; or perhaps, it was I who had struck dumb. The dream of the grave-digger perturbs me so deeply that it robs me of the pleasure of a sweet slumber until dawn, leaving nothing but the bitter taste of poison in my mouth. He has been accustomed to the dead for years, facing a new—and perhaps repetitive—story every day. But who is to know? Maybe the story of my death will be something new to him. Maybe he, too, dreams of burying me at night. In the morning, I picked up the stale piece of bread from a few days ago from the ledge next to the room's skylight. I tried to wash it down with the last drop of water remaining at the bottom of the glass, but the bread was so dry and hard that it could not be swallowed, even with water. Dazed and bewildered, I stepped out of the house; perhaps in search of a morsel of bread, or perhaps with the resignation that I must simply get by with this misery. It has been years since a fresh morsel of bread packed its bags and left this house, answering the call of death. There is no sign of fresh bread anymore, nor any water; barely a drop remains at the bottom of my glass.Today, I shall go to visit the grave-digger.O grave-digger! Dig your grave sooner. It is better that my own grave gets lost than for me to address you.Grave-digger... dig my grave!

Humans get tired, content machines don't. Top Story - May 2026.
Things have changed whilst I was busy attending other things. And I fell. I fell out of consistency and discipline. What happened to the work we, writers, used to do? More precisely, what happened to the way we used to do it? In the rush to monetise every aspect of our creative work, I've noticed a subtle shift that feels a lot less sustainable, perhaps a lot less creative and personal.

Saving Grace
I found this community last July, during a very difficult time. I had only begun writing again in March, and in June, catastrophe struck, taking my audience of one away from me. I had just found my voice again, and I found a self-publishing poetry challenge on Facebook and did it. Pomegranates was the result.

How AI Face Editing Is Changing Portrait Photography
Photo editing has evolved far beyond basic filters and color correction. One of the most interesting developments in recent years is AI-powered face editing, a technology that can adjust facial expressions in portraits with surprising realism. What once required advanced editing skills and hours of manual retouching can now be done in seconds through automated systems trained to understand human faces.

Vocal Is Over-Saturated Now!! - -diagnose the problem
First, I never thought I’d have to write a piece like this. But hey, from what I’ve seen, pointing out problems isn’t just accepted, it’s rewarded. And I really appreciate that, if you’re a founder or investor reading.

Authorship vs Refinement
Much of the confusion surrounding artificial intelligence and writing comes from a failure to distinguish between two fundamentally different acts: originating ideas and refining their expression. These acts are often treated as interchangeable, as though whoever touches the final form must also be the source of the thought itself. That assumption does not reflect how writing has ever worked, nor does it reflect how human thinking actually unfolds.

Expression vs Distortion
One of the most persistent frustrations in communication is the gap between what a person intends to say and what others actually receive. This gap exists regardless of intelligence, sincerity, conviction, or depth of understanding. Someone can hold an idea with clarity internally, yet watch it arrive distorted, flattened, reduced, or misinterpreted once it is expressed. The failure is often blamed on the idea itself, when the deeper issue is frequently translation.

Productivity as Preservation
Productivity is often framed as the visible accumulation of outcomes. Words written, posts published, episodes released, metrics improved, engagement gained, and projects completed become the evidence that work has happened. Under this framing, anything that does not immediately result in external output is treated as inefficiency, distraction, avoidance, or delay. The productive person is assumed to be the person who can show visible results.
